This drama is great but..... I'm home all alone and I also have an anxiety disorder. I wish I could continue watching this but it's making me too agitated. I usually avoid dramas like this one but it's so good I couldn't stop watching... anyways, it's great, I recommend it to anyone who is into thriller and mistery.
Do you think he has any feelings for his wife? And what is the deal with him seeing his father? Does anyone think…
When he said "I need her by my side, she helps chase the ghost (of his father) way". Maybe he means that her love and affection helps with his PTSD. When we're surrounded by loved ones, our minds don't go to that dark place. That's my interpretation of it. I think ML himself doesn't know what he feels for her and his family but he knows how important they are to him.
I had to google the role of a hospital pharmacist because I've never heard of them. I thought nurses managed medicines for some reason, but it does make sense because nurses have so much on their hands as it is. Learned something new today
This drama is trying to address issues that are very close to me and I appreciate it a lot. But the overall impression is that the plot is very messy. Some episodes have depth but it's not consistent at all. If all the episodes were like ep 11, this would be one of my favourite dramas this year. P.S. Puppy is such eye candy not gonna lie
I've only watched Ho Jun peel garlic and wash dishes on Three meals a day. This is my first drama with him. It's fun watching him act like an annoying child. Loving the drama so far
I was expecting her to pretend like nothing was wrong and then she broke down like a kid in front of Dae Hyun's…
When you go for so long without having anyone care for you, even a simple "what's wrong? are you okay?" would make you cry. That broke my heart, she's not used to people's kindness.
SB is my girl. Hardworking, intelligent, badass and so pretty. I hope they finally give her a break and she's…
Been thinking about this since the first few eps. SB deserves better than DH, she is much more independent and mature. DH needs to work on his self esteem. So far it's been the "how is DH gonna please YJ this time" show, so frustrating to watch. DH deserves better, breaking up is the first step man!! Let's go.
I find this drama so frustrating (not because of the 'explicit' content they claim it has, cause I find this claim…
Victim storyline? Not sure what you mean. They are two young girls, no family, no support, trying to make ends meet. They lost their house in the last ep but I'm honestly surprised they even had a place to stay in to begin with. And yes, low income people are more vulnerable to scams. Sadly that's how things are in real life
I felt so personally attacked after the last episode. It made me realise how prejudiced I was against most of the characters. There are many sides to them. The build up was quite long: maybe it was intentional? Anyways, I'm rooting for Saet byul!!
Don't like that his mom can just beat up her husband whenever she's mad. Like that's not okay and it shouldn't…
she literally beat him up cause he SAID something that hurt her ego. That's a narcissist and that's domestic abuse...I get that domestic violence is common in Asian households but I had no idea it was perceived as as comic relief.
Ep 4 was so good. I'm not a fan of rom-com but this is so fun to watch. The whole show could be just about the…
Female lead, male lead and his girlfriend are all pretty immature. Intrestingly seems like the most self aware and capable is Saet Byul. I kinda want her to end up with "Puppy", they would be a good match
Ep 4 was so good. I'm not a fan of rom-com but this is so fun to watch. The whole show could be just about the 2 leads arguing and I wouldn't complain. The acting from the 2 leads is great. Kim Yoo Jung, you got me, I'm gonna follow you in everything you do from now on!!
I disagree. This specific drama is the problem. Dont blame it on "korean dramas" and "korean culture"
the problems with this specific drama are more obvious. but I think we should all acknowledge where SK is at in terms of sensitive issues such as sexual harassment and racial discrimination. What you see on screen is a reflection of the point of view of many Koreans. This is just like the Asian household I grew up in and I wish things were different.
When consuming Korean drama and Korean culture, I think it's important to set realistic expectations. The sexism, the racism, the heteronormative bs... that's what you're opening the door to. that being said, I don't find myself rooting for the couple but I like the storytelling style so far. It makes me want to start reading a webtoon. I started this mainly for Yoo Jung but Ji Chang Wook is delivering!!
She's so reckless. she can be a danger to herself and others. Their relationship would be pretty destructive... but then again, it's Seo Ye Ji... so I'll switch off my good judgement for her
Thank you for sharing your opinion, I was quiet nervous this drama will fail since it's talking about mental illness…
Same here! Honestly, I was really sceptical about this drama at first. I've tried watching some of the latest dramas about mental illness but the way they sensationalise mental illness made me really really uncomfortable. I'm really glad I don't have to drop this one
I like FL a lot, probably because I can relate to her a lot (which is why I go to therapy lmao). I really like when she told the little girl not to forget what happened that day because the only way she can overcome that traumatic event is by processing what happened instead of repressing it (which is what your brain is wired to do in order to protect you). That story from her book was so on point! I bet the writers did a lot of research about trauma therapy. I also think FL used to be that little girl at the end of the episode: even though her dad was literally putting her life in danger, she still wanted to be with him. Kids will take all the abuse and justify the abuser, especially when the abuser is a caregiver... Really liking this drama so far, seems to me that they have been quite respectful in their portrayal of mental health issues.
