the title alone is killing me. Eternal Monarch of PRODUCT PLACEMENT!! They have new products every episode. This is so mindblowing to me, never seen anything like this. they outdid themselves
FL need to cut down on her coffee consumption, maybe that's what's making her so irritable all the time. and please stop showing us that coffee brand, no one wants to drink it and get that moody
I find it really interesting that FL is diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, it's one of the most stigmatised and misunderstood disorders out there and I hope this drama gets to shine some light on the hurt and the loneliness behind it.
I'm not really a fan of the 1st episode... Maybe bc I was expecting really good things? It's just... It feels…
Completely agreed. My expectations were waaaaay too high, expecially since Jung Somin is in it. Ironically, I feel like ML is in great need of a therapist. He definitely needs to sort out his own issues, he's not the hero who's meant to save everyone. It is a very dangerous mentality to have when working in that field, things get out of control and people get hurt. In real life, in the case of the fake cop, before starting to push him to confront his own demons a decent therapist would have taken years to get a good idea of his (complex!!) history of mental health issues considering how vulnerable his patient is. In real life, ML would have lost his license for malpractice a long time ago because a therapist like that is a danger to his vulnerable patients. People with mental health issues are the most vulnerable people out there and I feel like this drama doesn't get it at all. I've had bad therapists in my life but never one as bad as ML.
Yup.... It's not legal... It's called transference and countertransference
trasference is really common though, it's almost expected in therapy, it's something worth exploring for the sake of healing. but i feel like most clients don't feel comfortable talking about it. transference in itself isn't bad, but if the therapist dares to cross his professional boundaries then it is really bad.
I find myself kind of rooting for the main couple but.. It's very unethical (and in most countries it's illegal) for psychiatrists to date patients. Also the ML's questionable counselling methods aren't quirky, they are very very dangerous, he's putting the patients at risk for his own ego.
Stumbled upon the ost cover With my tears by Wheein and have been listening to it to get a good cry from time to time. I'm not watching this drama but really really want to start it soon.
