is it okay to watch this before watching the previous seasons?
i would recommend watching both the seasons in order to understand their situation and relationship progress better season 1 was equally good so you won't be bored at all infact s1 will make you more excited to watch s2

idk how many people will come across this comment but I've been seeing a lot of people judging this drama without giving it a shot first specially the og manga readers which is understandable i guess considering majority live actions tend to cut out a lot of important details that are fan favourites from the manga to fit into the time slot so it does get frustrating at some point but i would suggest every reader of this manga to put aside their prejudices against live actions and actually give tsuiraku jk to haijin kyoshi a shot atleast for the sake of the actors akari and hashiryo, as an og manga reader myself who also was skeptical in the beginning trust me they bodied the characters of jk and haijin so well I don't think anyone could have been a better cast than these two young actors they perfectly portrayed the comedic and emotional dynamics of the characters and the directors actually made the live action as close to the og story as possible with their limited actor numbers and duration, they perfectly balanced the humour and serious factors the mangaka wanted to deliver through the og story, i usually don't comment paragraph on mdl pages but i think akari and hashiryo deserve some support and appreciation for giving briliant performance together so please if you're doubting wether to watch or not just because it's a live action trust me and give this drama atleast one chance

I didn't understand what's mikoto's brothers role what does it mean when haiba says that his brother has complex…
the siscon thing is already answered and if you're asking about the importance of mikoto's brother as a character in the plot then he has a very important part in the original manga there's major past arc as to why he always wears a paper bag around mikoto he also is one of the reasons behind mikoto's current personality/suic*dal tendencies and it all kinda connects with haijin's past it comes in full circle you'll know once the drama progresses hopefully they'll be able to cover it all in 6 episodes
