If you're looking for something similar to Doctor Prisoner, Life may be your next watch. They're both fast paced kdramas that keeps you on the edge, they both deal with corruption, they have smart male leads, just a spoon of romance and Life is also a medical drama.
The tension between the director and the ML is also incredibly similar to Yi-Je's and Min-Sik's relationship and the acting from every actor (Specially Lee Dong-Wook and Cho Seung-Woo) is outstanding. Just by watching the first episode this series keeps you on a chokehold and I really recommend it!
