Mercy For None: A series about revenge and brotherhood

I watched this series when it first came out around july of 2025 and I still have the amazing grip of it. It was one of the first dramas that i've watched and I was CRAVING for some action so I decided to give this series a try, and I was incredibly hooked up! Instantly started binging it and soon it was over.

I loved this series a lot. Ji-Jun's amazing fighting skills were eye-catching, his movements fluid and perfect, the way he managed to fight with such a style... Mesmerizing. The cast was also amazing in their work, you can really see the time they spent on perfecting each scene.

It is true that sometimes the fights do get repetitive but I am an action lover so that wasn't much of a problem, and there's this thing that I liked a lot that made me want to continue watching it, and that's brotherhood and family. The fact that Ji-Jun fought over hundred of persons to take revenge out of what they did to his brother is just sweet to me, it reveals how much a brother takes care of their sibling and always have their back, how would they take revenge if anything bad happened to them.

Overall this series was such an amazing watch and it was also short from what I was watching in that time, eight episodes to capture the essence of family, revenge and power. If you're looking for something to watch, I highly recommend Mercy For None.

Important note (Trigger Warning): If you have any disgust, fear or you are easily scared about anything related to blood, I don't recommend for you to watch this, it's pretty gorey and there's a lot of blood, uncensored scenes of murder and mayhem. Watch it on your own risk.

Sisyphus could've been a top tier series BUT here's my opinion on why it isn't (Coming from a fan)

Well, as long as I remember the first time i watched Sisyphus I was amazed. Overall I don't have any problem with this series, in fact I pretty much love it. But the main problem I have with it is also a key factor: I couldn't even force myself to like Seo-Hae even the slightest bit.

Her past felt always the same, hiding, helping her father, sleep and repeat, not only that but her main purpose just seems extremely forced: Who wants to save a random stranger only because a diary that seems yours said it? Also, not only that but the first three episodes I was just... Not interested at all because of Seo-Hae, her character seemed just extremely plain and that is just... Not it.

Another thing I want to comment is how HTS (Han Tae-Sul) and KSH (Kang Seo-Hae) just don't fit at all in a romantic way, they are polar opposites, and I suppose that was the thing the directors were looking for but I just feel it extremely forced. I wouldn't have minded it if it wasn't forced but sometimes I swear you can see how HTS's actor doesn't enjoy the age gap these two characters have.

In my opinion, the series was amazing but the only things that failed for me were these, even if I don't like these points I pretty still much glaze it every day and moment I can since I do loved HTS's lore backstory and character development, I was interested in his character since the first moment, and same thing happens to me with Sigma. Sigma's become my favorite k-drama character of all time.

Not all the things that happen in this series are bad, this is just my opinion and I'm sure a lot of people hated it as much as loved it but I just thought of doing this review because I needed to take my Seo-Hae hate out... I just can't lwk stand her and I hate how a lot of people just overglaze the hell out of her when she didn't do nothing special aside two or three things. She didn't even get to save and stop Tae-Sul in the end lmao. Not doing any hate towards her fans, I just dislike KSH and the poor write they gave her, she could've been EVEN better.
I mostly just blame it on the directors though...

Beyond Evil, the greatest detective thriller EVER.

Looking to watch a detective thriller drama? Beyond Evil is a MUST watch. There's just something about this drama that I find incredibly amazing, the cast, the acting is chef's kiss and I am still looking for another drama that captivates me as much as Beyond Evil when I first started watching it.

I don't know where to begin, this series is the type of drama where there's just so much to comment and glaze about it's physically impossible. Beyond Evil had me on a CHOKEHOLD on every single episode. Each Han Ju-Won and Lee Dong-Sik interaction had me jumping and screaming because their relationship is just so unique and beautiful. The storyline? Absolutely perfect, I wouldn't change nothing about this series.

I cried, I laughed, I screamed, I panicked, this series made me feel every single emotion raw and I couldn't stop watching, my eyes were fixed on the screen.

I still need to find something like Beyond Evil, when I say this changed my life perspective it's because it indeed did.

Pegasus Market is a heartwarming comedy you can't miss.

When I first started watching Pegasus Market I wasn't expecting a lot, just a simple comedy drama that centered around a supermarket. I was incredibly WRONG and here's why and why YOU should watch it!

I found this series because I absolutely love Kim Byung-Chul which is the actor that plays Jung Bok-Dong. Since I loved his acting in countless series and films, I decided to give this series a try.

When I tell you the first episode had me absolutely mesmerized...

I realized this series was becoming such an important series to me and soon it was over! Time passed incredibly rapidly when watching this and when I finished it I just couldn't help but rewatch it again.

The pacing is amazing, the dynamic between the main characters Jung Bok-Dong and Moon Seok-Goo is incredibly heartwarming, the comedic scenes are so funny and a lot of the times they had me rolling on the floor. There's also this part from this series that I find underrated which is how amazing and well written each character's backstory is written.

Overall I loved this series, each episode felt like a rollercoaster in the best way possible, it doesn't get overwhelming nor repetitive as somehow this series manages to have equality between it's storyline. The cast and acting is also incredibly on point. I can't believe why more people hasn't watched this yet. This series is just amazing and it couldn't be more perfect.

Post data: If you do watch the series I also recommend watching side-to-side the special post-series episodes that belong to Pegasus Market: Vroom Vroom. (The episodes are available on YouTube on the official channel of TvN Studios) and the off-camera recording of the series and making-off is also really funny!
