Since they have found a loop hole by producing and filming the BLs outside of China, the making of them isn't necessarily going to be a problem.. it's more so the consequences for the actors. I foolishly also thought China was being less strict regarding BLs since last year.. but I guess it was only a temporary illusion. I am too sincerely hoping for the best! Maybe the scrutiny will die down and they can be released, who knows. But just like you said, I'd still rather YunYi be safe than me selfishly getting those episodes.

There's currently intense scrutiny directed at the current active CBL couples and it seems Yunqi and Yiran are being especially carefully watched by the government. They kind of adressed it today at the end of a business livestream, even though they can't directly outright say it. There's been a lot of rumors about stricter policy changes again against BL actors in China, so I suspect all of that is preventing them from releasing the special episodes. As they've gotten very popular over the last few months, those special episodes would no doubt trend like crazy, which would be extremely risky and might get them completely blacklisted from doing anything in the public eye anymore, especially together. The boys have already had to dial back on duo content and have been extra careful this past month. It's a harsh and horrible reality that the chinese government is deeply homophobic. Sadly, this is the only update to give right now.. My heart breaks for the boys. 😔

Most chinese shows are dubbed, so yes you are correct. It's fairly seamless here and the voices fit well, but at times you can tell. I wish we'd get to hear their real voices, as I feel it would add so much more rawness to the scenes.

Can't be sure but he's definitely not gotten anything big done. It's just how his face naturally moves, he has a kind of lazy mouth aka doesn't really open it much when speaking. The makeup and styling were also sometimes a bit off, which definitely contributed to this. I don't agree with what you said, as I find his face very attractice also in the show, but wanted to just add my thoughts on this. :)

There is a chance and they definitely want to, but they have a lot going on rn with concerts and brand deals, so probably not any time soon!

Yes, the two main actors, Yunqi and Yiran, talked about it on their xhs livestream (Jan 22nd) as they had just finished filming in Thailand. :)

He wasn't sexually or even romantically interested in anyone before Shu Lang, so it makes perfect sense that he was still a virgin.

They filmed them a month ago, so now it's just a matter of how long post production and dubbing will take. Surely we'll get them this spring! :)

Yess, they are preparing it now and will travel back to Thailand (I assume) to shoot extra for us. They said filming before Chinese New Year, so during Jan-Feb. Hope we then get to see it this spring!!
