Ling Xiao can't travel out of Singapore because his study and take care of his mom (+his sister). And his mom also prevent him to leave Singapore.

As for Zi Qiu, his distance is furthest and cost is highest. His bio's dad cut his funding, so Zi Qiu must stand on his own foot to live overseas. He work and study, and he also determined to save his money so he can set a shop in his homeland.

The plot is simple and sweet. But near the end i just want to skip some episodes to the finale.

The mainplot is similar, but the vibe, the emotion FbC deliver isn't the same level as Go Ahead.

Like everyone said, Go Ahead is strong in family bonding, with longer episodes it have time to build layers for the story.

FbC felt rushed in many things.

Go Ahead is not flawless, it also have flaws. Some audiences, including me, felt that ML love action to FL is creep. And also because the family bonding is strong, many viewers almost see siblings romance like incest, eventho they're not really blood related.

FbC try to fix that by reduce family bonding, and introduce romance earlier. But reduced family bonding stirred og's fans, while romance in FbC didn't way much better. So FbC like sacrifice something og's fans loved but gain nothing.

Ah iya, terlewatkan. Selain akting memang karakternya juga dibuat tidak semenonjol JianJian. JianJian jadi jangkar cerita, sedangkan peran Ju-Won berkurang sekadar jadi penghubung tokoh2 utama.

Jadi di Go Ahead JianJian mengalami perkembangan karakter, sedangkan di FbC hampir tidak terasa perkembangan.

g jelek sih, tapi kurang menonjol untuk ukuran bintang utama. Justru yang chemistry dan aktingnya mencuri perhatian itu hubungan ayah anak Hae-Jun dan Jeong-Jae.

1. Go Ahead is really strong in family bonding, while FbC try different approach which is romance.
2. There are many layered moments in GA, so some conflitcs really hit us emotionally, while FbC is more simplified. Like time skip, or sadness of JianJian's father about his sons being hitted by other peoples, Ling Xiao's grandma hit Ling Xiao, ZiQiu's aunt hit Zi Qiu.
3. And yes, Jian-Jian have more presence than Ju-Won. There are many iconic moments of JianJian that make her the anchor of the family. Another thing is how the character being written. We can feel the character development of teenage JianJian to adult JianJian, as for FbC upto 12episodes, i can't see differences of teenage Ju-Won with adult Ju-Won other than her fashion.

In Go Ahead, teenage Jian-Jian kinda troublemaker and the brothers will protect her or fix her mistakes. Adult JianJian is the most "normal" siblings in the family, she grow up fine and become more mature than her brothers. I can say this because in adult timeline she have less issue than other characters. Ling Xiao still have trouble to reject her bio mom, Zi Qiu still have abandon issue, Tang Can have romantic-parent-career issue, Ming Yue have family issue.

At some point in the drama, Do-Aeng mentioned about different of an average skill artis and talented one. I forgot what her exact lines is, it something like in (creative) industry talented artist can reach further than average one.
It happened in real life too, not just in creative industry, in sports and many other fields there are always talented peoples, but that doesnt mean we have to give up.

Tbh the final episode really like highlighting her, from the moment Yeong-Seo recognized her lost in audition to the final bow on the stage.

Probably you're right about final punch. It's like a goodbye letter for fans, audience, and maybe Gugkgeuk it selt.

i don't think hanging. It's a completed arc of Jeong Nyeon from nobody to a star. Hence the Star is Born.

thats funny about OkGyeong, actually she can make a good farewell rather than lose herself like that. She can resign normally and annouce her retirement, but no, she have to make it dramatic.

His face and Park B-Gum's have similar features, but his expression look like actor Kim Moo-Yul

But she is never make it with Zi Qiu's best friend. He liked Ming Yue, then in the end them 3 just become friend and agree to forget what have happened in the past.

i forgot, but i'm pretty sure they aren't.

Ming Yue went to different city to develop her career, and Zi Qui focus on his business as i remember.
