Absolutely brilliant show. Home runs hit by everyone, and a grand slam by Yakusho Koji. It's funny, it has some drama, and such a great concept to work with. Instant classic.
Just saw this at my local film festival. I did watch the anime version when it was released, and wow this movie really adds on some great personality to the characters along with gorgeous visuals.
I also really didn't expect Asahi's character to be like that. (': The whole scene on the roof (the second one)…
I thought that was a fun reveal, too. I like the two already. I'm also surprised that it looks like everything is basically revealed, but this may be more light hearted than I assumed because I couldn't help but think of The Truman Show.
Episode 3 (the third part) is my favourite part. Imada Mio and Mori Nana did such a wonderful job in this short section. Shoutout to the writer of this part Nemoto Shuko.
Edit: it's on ABEMA's YT but only has poor auto translated captions/subs. Check out Kawaii Idolization Subs' post for quick and well done subs before NF gets to it!
K-Drama
In select theatres Dec 30, and a wide release Jan 15 (says nationwide which I assume is America but most likely North America?)
