I found myself anticipating the next fight and slowly raising expectations. When the fights did happen I thoroughly enjoyed the action and long takes between cuts. The plot is pretty decent, too, and has a lot of nice touches with characters and their backgrounds. This show to me is already in an epic tier for me. I purchased the manga soon after watching.
Such a cute and enjoyable show. Loved every episode! The two quirky main characters were great and had great chemistry. The plot is incredibly well thought out and little to no stone left unturned. I'm so happy as a Korean and Japanese show fan.
Can definitely feel the Kwak Jae Yong theme with this one, which is a positive. I revisited this movie after 15+ years and it still has some good comedic moments and cute bits.
Just finished and can't help but feel quite similarly. I don't get why we needed this professor and Usagi relationship either. Arisu saving others is cool. Usagi and Ryuiji with embracing , staring while sleeping, future memory of asking her out...not cool. Usagi's reason to come back was unsatisfactory, and answered in such a poor way. I am not even sure, nor do I care if the futures their chose came true. Arisu was the only satisfying character who was able to stay true and help everyone out the best he could. But this borderland world and existing between both, or seeing visions is so odd. The ending...is so obviously Netflix influenced like another show many of us know and left a sour aftertaste and I really tried hard to defend how different the shows were.
On my Italian Netflix I have only five episodes. Do you know when the other episodes will be released?
This is in line with the international release for Netflix which is 2 weeks behind the Japanese broadcast. Each episode comes out on Thursdays (at least in Western North America), so there may be some variance but it is a weekly release.
Yeah, I found it was a bit weird too when Meguru used her own phone to send the voice mail. I think they missed…
Her dad did text her to tell her no need to reply, so if her mom was texting then it would be confusing for sure. I also assume there was some short charge or magic 0.1% on her phone after powering it back on lol
