This one was also nice, the pacing was not too fast. I just wished that ML lead dad didn’t have such an abrupt character development, it seems just too forced and looked more like a wish to shove some moral lesson down our throat, to contrast with the FL parents who were getting a divorce. She got pregnant so early in the drama that I kinda of wished that we could have seen more of that family dynamics with the new baby and Xiaoxan who they were also clearly raising.

This was so warm and a super nice slice of life drama. Call me difficult but I believe that because of the lgbtia+ ban in China, the writers and directors decided to not give Nana and Damei any love interest. Because I could feel that they low key turned them into a sismance because they couldn’t do whatever they wanted there! But still this was beautiful and I love the fact that Chen Nanxing got a beautiful and deserved send off to the end.

Wasn’t there a rumor that this drama was getting a 2nd season ?

I went in with no exceptions and I was entertained, this is a drama for rainy days. It’s not the best but it’s ain’t the worst either. I just wish that adore it would simply opt for no loss when they see that actors are not comfortable. Because this one as some horrible kisses that take you instantly out of the story.
