I just finished it. ZL really did not disppoint. It was quite interesting how she almost "metamorphosed" into different personalities. The makeups also made she look like completely different. It was great seeing the "old" ZL among them. However, overall, the dra wasn't that good. The writer overplayed the ML and FL roles making them too perfect. It was a very good binge watch story, so that gave it some points in my score. However, not more than an 8/10.
Still in episode 15 and so far a generally good series. However, the over-the-top crying and cliché scenes are a bit too much. The director could have spared us from a good amount of it.
This series will hopefully not flop like the second Fox Spirit Matchmaker did. The first series with Yang Mi was very good. I was very disappointed with the second one. Looking forward to a good third series to make up for the second.
I just watched the first two episodes. Maybe because I'm used to the "old" ZL, I still could not wrap my head around her new look and acting style. Her face was litteraly destroyed by whatever happened to her (surgery, radical weight loss, whatever) and her new "serious" character, instead of the usual lively, noisy, vibrant ones is being hard to get. I'll still watch a few more to see if it improves. So, more people might also feel like that.
Great movie! Very nice second part of the series. It's very underrated here. The overall production, acting, direction, crowned by superb special effects provide excellent entertainment. Definitely worth watching.
Very good concept and story that were "just-good" implemented. Starting by why calling them "bionic", since it was just genetic modification. There were no kinds of implants or changes like in the Star Trek's Borgs. The story was good but slow burning, similar to the Chinese original version of Three Body Problem. The ML is just a far fetch of Harrison Ford in Blade Runner and the movie itself in terms of action. I also found interesting that the police cars had Police in English instead of Chinese. Yet, all documents were in Chinese. So, where that came from? As a SciFi, both instalments of Reset (movie and series) fitted the genre a lot better. This one felt more like an investigation/crime type story.
Normal VIP will get the remaining episodes from E35 starting today (1 ep per day).
The normal VIP was getting 2/day. I have been waiting for it to end so I would start watching. However, suddenly the final four are locked. So, when are they unlocked?
I have not tried Youku yet, since Viki has the stuff I've been watching. How can it use two layers of express? That sounds crazy.
seriously saying..! I will never ever come here to watch this trash again..! I am Outta here..! reason for disdain…
I agree that the whole story is messed up. Had a good potential to be good but they screwed it up badly. Not sure if this already first signs of Korea partnering with hollyweird to bring its content worldwide, since this is the kind of stuff that sunk hollyweird and has been sinking Korean dramas like a rock in a pond. It has been difficult to find good Korean dramas like before this collaboration.

Thanks! I just checked again but it's still locked. iQiyi has became one of those companies that only want to nickel and dime its customers. Its youtube channel became a tragedy and I cancelled my subscription a while ago. Now I decided to give its own website a try but I'm seeing the same pattern developing.
Just realized I subscribed premium VIP which gives me slightly earlier access to the final episodes compared to…
Thanks! I only watch using one device, hence did not see the need for the premium. Today when I checked the drama page I saw that "express" fee thing. I normally wait for the drama to end because I like to binge watch.
I was going to start watching but saw that iQiyi is charging some extra for VIP members to watch the final episodes. Apparently only the super VIP have access to all. This is ridiculous. Does iQiyi drop that extra fee after a while or it stays? If so I might have to reconsider watching it and even if I keep the VIP membership.
OMG The soundtrack! It was an interesting choice, especially credit tracks. Seems out of place for the time period…
That soundtrack is sometimes creepy. The background story behind the crimes was bloody and also on the creepy side. However, there have been other similar style series where the music did not try to raise our hair. Definitely not something we play in the car audio while driving. 😂
This drama is a masterpiece. 73 episodes might seem long but they pass in a heartbeat. The production, script, acting, direction, soundtrack and photography are simply perfect. It's really difficult to find more like this one. Just to give an idea, I caught myself watching again in the middle of some newer ones that, despite shorter, were simply a drag and I had to take a break. It's very underrated. Should be at least a 9.5.
