Funny how all of you "who had the account for years" came out in droves lioe I haven't seen before for any drama. Even some pathetic ones that seemed made by interns who haven't graduated in arts school yet.

Great series. Nice story, lots of twists, very beautiful cinematography, and the acting in general is good. The soundtrack is soothing and complements the story and scenes very well. It does not have a cliffhanger or suggests it, but I hope there's a second season continuing the story.

I'm sure that the streaming platforms know in advance. There's a lot to prepare on the back end, like file servers, web servers, which regions, promo stuff, etc.
Anyway, maybe they have some kind of agreement to also only make it public after a certain date.
I hope Viki will also start it at the same date as Tencent. It's a great series and waiting has been hard. :-)

I hope so. However, if it's coming in July, it should be already advertised. It's a big one, and highly expected.

That's her role in this drama, and she played it quite well, as always. Ronron was also a bit stiff. Only Yaya was more spontaneous.

I think FL started liking ML before him started liking her. I believe what woke him up was when the emperor suggested marring FL to his brother. At that time he panicked and decided to go for it.
However, the "real couple" thing only happened more to the end when she got the task to manage the other countries' envoys. That's when he openly started getting closer and supporting her.
It's definitely worth the watch.

Just look at the dramas in the recommended list. If you agree with the rankings then I suggest you take a look. Don't forget it's a fantasy genre. Compare with other fantasy genres.

What's happening with this series raises my curiosity. There must be something going behind the stage to elicit the vicious defamation campaign where bots keep repeating nonsense trying very hard to bring its rank down. That's despicable.

Anyone having doubts about this drama just take a look at the recommended dramas' ranking in the list. They are all around 8.5 and there's the least this one should be also. Just ask yourself if you liked them or not and if your rank matches. Be very careful of bots and don't miss a good watch opportunity because of that.

Did Yang Mi do better stuff? Yes, Eternal Love and Legend of Fuyao are better. Did she do worse? Yes, In the Name of the Brother, in my personal opinion is worse. But that's my opinion.

Nice series with very funny moments that prompted good laughts. The two main leads were great and the overall acting also very good. The production was detailed and very good with a nice music score complementing it.
I read somewhere that the ML decided to stop acting? If true, it's a pity since he does some great roles.

This drama was fun to watch. It started hinting as a Mr. and Mrs. Smith parallel but is an entertaining alternative. Some good acting mixed with others barely bearable. However, the overall production and OST made me interested until the end.
A couple characters could have been better written, but I guess the writer just wanted to fill a couple voids. Nonethless, the main couple is cute enough.

Between the script and acting I don't know what was worse. Tried hard but could not go beyond episode six.

Taking a break of this one. Story drags too much and that princess leaves a lot to be desired in terms of wits and knowing what she wants. Her freaking inept and weak father murdered her mother and tried to do the same with her. And she still has some compassion towards that scum? Some screenwriters push too much.

This was a very cool series. It mixed different styles that made an entertaining story that kept me watching from beginning to end. It was funny to recognize other movies' elements in it (not sure if intentionally or not) from Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kingdom, and even the sci-fi movies Lifeforce and The Thing. The production did its best with the CGI monsters, maelstroms, and other stuff. Direction and acting were very good in general and the OST also good. In general a very good series in the suspense, sci-fi, horror, action and adventure. Even though there wasn't a hint for a 2nd season, I definitely would welcome a sequel.

Just to say it wasn't perfect, it was weird watching a Portuguese ship crew speaking Spanish. :-)

Don't fall for the ratings, mostly in this drama's case.
It appears that there's some agenda and bots are doing everything they can to lower the rating, which should be a lot higher.

Heck, even Joy of Life had a hard time. Things are really weird.

My impression after reading many posts here is that there is an intentional movement to lower the score.
It's ridiculous, since it's a great series and definitely deserves a much higher score, mostly if we compare it with other fantasy-genre dramas that got 8.5 and higher and have nothing much better to show.
Some talk about the main lead, who should only act with other men (WTF?), others talk about HongHong being much older and even "raised" ML. Really, so what happened in Eternal Love when she was 70,000 years old and ML "only" 10,000 and she also raised him from a flower in a pond, and the list of absurd excuses go, which only demonstrates a concerted effort to lower this drama's rating.
So, I already used to take ratings with a grain of salt, but after this I'll just ignore them.

Taking a break from this one. Too heavy and dense. Yang Mi managed to play a character very different than her usual ones.
