Yeah ig. I felt really bad bro. Haven’t seen something like this in a while…its the antagonists who trigger me and the FL who I wanna see smile so badly lol

Idk people, I think its just me coz I am not much into this drama or instead into revenge dramas that much. It's not like this drama is not good, this is excellent but I just don't like bullying or dramas that instigate that hate emotion in me. I just hated the antagonists so much, but then I felt so much guilt and helplessness toward FL that I can't do anything for her. Also, I did not like ML that much, I think I like his comedy and funny side like in 18 again omg I loved his acting and all, here it just does not mix up with the drama's vibe, especially his crush and all. I think I am just not in the mood to watch bullying and revenge coz it feels unrealistic (this extreme bullying- it feels unrealistic but what if it is happening somewhere and I feel helpless)...I felt the same in School series and hence had to drop it. This is a lot better drama but still, I cannot understand the hype (don't hate me, just my opinion), I think I would have given this my 1 ranking if ML actor was different and strong who helped FL overcome everything with revenge, but like while living your life. I know it's a very severe case of bullying and if I was in the same situation I would have probably done the same, but I just cannot seem to link it with the drama.
Song Hye Kyo is one of the best actresses out there, I want her to smile bro, cant see her in this life. I think it's just me, I like people living a good life in a drama with challenges along the way that they overcome together, Ig I answered my own question I think I am looking for family, bromance kinda drama rather than toxic ones.
I still have to complete this drama since I want to see Song Hye Kyo smile after revenge, I am not a fan of this IMO, but it is what it is.

I can see why many people feel it was a waste of time…for me, it was good except the ending like wth were they thinking. It seemed pretty off to me…I loved the characters, they seemed strong most of the time and were pretty determined for the family values except against gungtan (too overpowered)…I liked Beom Yem Ji character, idk I just liked her from the beginning. ML/FL were great as well, major s2 hints but I had hoped they would have just ended it a bit more clearly. Idk if you will like this drama pr not but I liked it!

Can I drop it? I am on ep4 and bored…if I drop it will I be missing something spectacular…I think I am bored because I am not looking for long slow paced historical dramas rn…historical is okay but add a bit of fantasy to it and you can make a very good drama out of it. This one just feels bland to me

I am on ep4 and it got boring pretty quickly…it started pretty well but now I am just bored of the clown saying I will do everything for the queen just wait but then just rants when he cant uphold his promise, he does uphold it ig later but in the moment I just hated that side- felt like a kid immature…imo ML looks like a kid, a bit immature from his face (no offence intended). Like, I have seen him in Del Luna and Eat Link dramas and in both of them I think they could have pulled off with a better ML actor…Idk I just find him a bit kinda creepy or emotionless to be precise, acting is good as many people here will agree but its just not for me…Ig I just do not like political historical dramas. But I liked Love Like the Galaxy, the characters in there so so good, I just cant seem to find any kdrama where there is that level of execution except Alchemy of Souls.

Yeah, just like many other people said the last two eps were not done that well, I agree but to an extent. The ending means the last episode was pretty much excellent. What I did not like was the real Mom popping out unexpectedly, that execution was trash for me, I straight up just skipped that part. Every character had a perfect ending IMO. Great drama. Excellent comedy, it hits! What else, ahh yes the murder mystery, I actually predicted the real identity of the villain, but still, it was not bad for me. It was just a side hustle for the drama except in the end it was given quite a lot of weight in the drama which brought down the ratings from 9.5 to 9/10 for me....Still pretty much on top of this drama. If you like this drama and are searching for a better execution where the genre stays similar throughout the drama, pls go watch "18 again" - that is one of my favorite dramas in this category. That has flawless execution believe me

Well yeah, On hold list is there but I did not wanna put it in there. Firstly, I never expected to not like this drama. Secondly, I do not think I would return to this drama after watching other better dramas, its just not that good imo

In just 10 eps it became so tense....I don't mind the thriller part unless it does not hinder the rom-com but I felt very angry when they introduced the scandal part, felt so bad and angry I mean why, why. I would have literally punched those people who disrespected ML and FL, I just hoped the producers took a different route and made ML fight those Moms who threatened him in court, and ML drags them through the mud after winning the case, something like that. Of course, it's just my imagination but I am still hoping that those selfish people get the punishment they deserve later in the drama, literally trash people. Well, many people are saying the drama gets bad in the end (for the murder part) as of yet this is a 9.5/10 show for me. I just don't like shows that make me feel angst and hate.....I never saw it coming but still, I like this show. I liked most of the characters even the bromance of schoolmates. I am not watching for the murder part really, hence I am not disappointed, it's 9.5 just because of those trash Moms for me otherwise it would have been 10/10, I mean come on, I understand that parents want the best for their child but that does not mean you can go ahead and disrespect another parent. I literally want to cuss them, so much hate, just f*ing trash people.

Well idk what is gonna happen but what I can say just from 4 episodes is that I think this is gonna go into my top 10 of 2023 dramas. This is so well executed, thriller murder part Is kept to a minimum and I think that was a good decision. But, I also think that if they made it like a thriller drama where a star teacher solves the crime and the drama mixed other genres as well, then that would have made a killer drama as well. Actually, this reminds me of the drama "When the Camellia Blooms", doesn't it? This is so similar to that drama but I liked the setting and comedy execution of CCIR a lot more, comedy just hits a lot better. I dropped When the Camellia Blooms because the ML just felt idiotic sometimes and the pacing was off for me, but I think CCIR just took all of those complaints and worked on it to make potentially the best drama ever made IMO. Really very interesting plot. Loved ML/FL, feels like they are made for each other really. Idc about most of the murder part, I think they added that to just insert a message into the drama but I don't mind it, the drama is excellent anyways.

Ohh…well then ig pacing is good. Ig I was looking for something relatable and slice of life without a lot of melodrama but not missing out on emotions - hence I liked it. Now I dont know about this mystery angle in the drama, something related to killer but I hope it does not hinder my experience

Did you watch this one in one go or weekly? Because I am gonna binge this and maybe that could have helped me with the pace of this drama, coz I like it ( altho I have only 1 ep but generally I can judge which drama I will like by 1-2 episodes).

Just completed ep1 and oh my god what mature storyline this is seeming to be! There are problems and issues, no one seems perfect but still they all are lovely characters. Very relatable characters and storyline as in India as well I have experienced this race of private coaching and their tiresome process for parents (no offence intended). Really parents would do anything for their child. I just feel so bad right now that I did not appreciate their effort when I was a high school student. I think this drama will make me cry.

omg I never expected the scenes in ep 9. Holy moly! Now I understood why is this highly rated. It deserves it...Its not perfect but it is very good, especially the execution.

The start was pretty interesting! Then after an ep or 2 it got a bit slow and after 4th ep it skyrocketed....Just watch till ep4 people, you will be hooked.....This is really good, there is jealousy, and sometimes it's not as light as you assume but the producers handled it so well that this show gives you the butterflies really! Excellent execution, I hope more dramas adopt this length, as stretching them to 16 sometimes disturbs the pacing of a drama and I had to drop them just because of that reason.
