This one feels weird to me. I only like some moments but then drama ignores it so much then to get back to it as if nothing changed. Its confusing as if they want it to be a serious drama or unnecessary humour. People are dying and you care for that day, the next day is all normal? Wth is going on, I am halfway through and I just cannot understand the decisions of the characters and even the romance. Your relative is literally in the hospital in bad shape and you doing other stuff as if you forgot it for those moments and then came back to it again. I have never seen this kinda confusing behaviour in a kdrama before. Honestly, they should just focus on solving the case in chunks and romance/comedy in the middle of those chunks, but here it feels like random mix of everything which doesn't add up well. I like the characters but the storyline is messy. I dont think I will be able to complete the show, its become boring
I have actually seen a similar movie but I have never watched Korean movies with stuff like this so I never expected it. I watched something very similar in my home country movie called “Maharaja” Highly recommended if you liked this one.
Guys I have a very awesome recommendation if you liked this movie Its an Indian thriller Tamil movie called“Maharaja”. It has similar premises but its less of a mind fu*k, no nudity, and more of a drama. Please go watch it on Netflix with sub. You will not regret it
The perfect Slice of Life. You cannot ask for more. Its perfect...this drama was so relatable, its like I am a part of poem reading it from a 3rd person viewpoint.
Just completed Ep3. Below are my thoughts and predictions...
I think after watching the rape victim angle, karma is being delivered to all those 3 boys who were the perpetrators, also the girl which devised all that. So, I think the boys are now - man who paid to kill his father, the doctor, and the killer who threw the father's body from that airwalk bridge. The girl, of course, who orchestrated this scheme of blackmailing the doctor is dead, I believe. About the 2 people who are taking photos of everything secretly are, I suspect, employed by the rape victim (Shin Min Ah) so that she can deliver karma? This is a long stretch and of course there are things I am missing like that Korean-Chinese guy, but Ig I cant say anything firm about him without watching the later episodes.
I liked this season, although not as much as S1. It felt like it did not have a satisfactory ending for a lot of characters. I liked how season 1 had satisfactory reactions to actions, but in s2 it did not feel like that. I was just here for ML and FL, so I got that though!
I am wondering what happened? How can reviews change drastically? Or was it because very less people rated when it was 6.5? But then shouldn't MDL make sure that does not happen?
Its 10/10 for me. Idk why people say its overrated. Sometimes, a simple but touching story is more than enough for a perfect reflection of our society, why complicate it. Maybe its just me but I think this signifies just how unsafe it is for women in our society and how much more people like the ones in the movie we need. This has to be one of my favorites now, considering the "Midnight Runners" are both a 10 for me. Just awesome, made me wanna become a Protector of sorts. Go way beyond for the people!
Why would he go back? He made the hard decision to live forever in 1988, because he's much happier there.
He still did have a life in the present. He saved his friend prosecutor probably as he solved the case in the past, but we don't know officially, right?
