I don't know if this one is really the best BL, I came here from I feel you linger in the air (uncut), that I rated 9.5: near perfection. But sure your hype is motivating me a lot!
I don't think Thai acting is so "different", it's because of the fact that all the main actors in this show are…
I understand your meaning, but it is really different . Perhaps it's cause it's a BL (genre that I like a lot) but it gives different vibes. You have to adjust to it. And I said also that the acting improved a lot. In my rec, I said even that I was amazed that this was the first show for the actors, or the 4 leads, at least. Thai shows are really different from China, Korea, Japan, not to mention Europe or America. Moves are bolder, there're different tropes... Currently I'm watching another drama where they continually clutch shirts menacing. It's peculiar, you have to adjust. The first times you're surprised, later you realize that's a distinguishing feature. Korea has the "white truck of doom", China has the "saving the falling damsel in distress with a lot of spinning" and so on. Now that I adjusted to the peculiare mannerisms, it doesn't bother me anymore. The first time I approached a drama it was a Chinese one, The Untamed. I watched only one episode and run for my life. A year later I came back and the rest is history. My lists speak for themselves.
I never thought I'd live long enough to see a kiss between two men in a cdrama
well, not to rain on your parade, but they don't really show us a real kiss on the lips. They angle the camera to hint that there is a kiss, but I think they mimic it. It's a first, anyway.
Pity that this drama has no ENG subs from 24 tò end. It was very interesting and I love the ML, this is his First Role and he nailed It. He Is very handsome and a very good actor, very Natural.
When I see a positive review from you I'm satisfied, cause 95% we are on the same wave length. So, kisses are not so important, here. Not so important, but what I wish to know is if there's a happy ending, cause lately I stumbled upon too many tragedies . Really good watches, but I want feel elated in the end. ;)
