she knew by a letter that her previous master gave to her, she said it to Gong Zi Yu at the final episode, that she was indeed part of that family she pretended to be and she had a twin, for this reason they coul check her past without flaws (but she only discovered that at the final episode reading the letter, that's why she decided to search for her sister just to meet her).
holy s*** this drama was awesome in every possible way but it coud've survived without the 5 final minutes. I've invested so much sentiment and tears (and I don't cry a lot watching dramas), untill the very ending they had to pull the tricky card of the 'open ending' (everything happened super fast and I dare to say in a sort of dumb way, how the new lady Gong just decided to leave the high guarded mountain knowing that she may be chased by her previous faction all by herself, she could have at least a few guards with her; and the sword bearer just thought that it was a nice idea to leave the love of his life travel alone on a time like that, I know he couldn't leave the mountain but could leave the girl scorted. i swear to god when she said she was going to visit her sister I could figure what everyone was talking about the ending bc was too perfect to be true) just to add a ~~mysterious aura~~, and I'm just like this 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
dude I hate sad endings but due to the dept of this story I could've bared a sad closed ending, not this superficial one. and it hurts me almost phisically to know that there's no season 2.
but ANYWAY even with this final minutes i'ts still a 1000/10 drama for me, would watch it again many times just for the beauty of everything.

I've Fallen for You is a very funny drama. The FL is badass on her own way (being a legist If I'm not mistaken).
A New Life Begins also made me laugh a lot. The FL is all funny and kinda silly at the begin, but helps the ML with her knowledge.
A Girl Like Me is also funny and the FL is very very badass and fights better than the ML haha
The Romance of Tiger and Rose is funny af, and also has our Zhao Lusi ♥️
Oh My General is one of my favorite dramas and the FL is a general while the ML is a playboy. It's pretty unique and well done.
Maiden Holmes is not as funny as the rest but the FL is strong and smart and the ML chases her first. It also has pretty good ratings. This is my comfy drama, I've rewatched it several times ♥️
My guess ... Lack of idols plus too mature and masculine face of the ML .... young people nowadays have different…
I've just saw here, she got plenty of main roles, good for her! I'm a c-drama addicted but didn't watched any of those. Oh but in this aspect men can have more flexibility at the age of the characters bc of the good old sexism 🙃 I enjoy watching the trope "older woman/younger man" bc I hate stereotypes of lovely, clumsy and always positive FL 😆😆😆

I've only saw her on the teen drama Love 020 and I was so happy she got a main role here, and even more, a skilled fighter, that's my favorite type of FL. Hope she don't see the bad comments about her age :(

A friend of mine told that the FL was being canceled bc people were telling she's too old. I mean what's wrong with people's eyes? She's totally awesome and pretty (even if I don't mind the beauty factor). I though the ML could attract some attention bc he did a terrific job on A Dream of Splendor (it was very high scored on douban and it's a lot, chinese people are far more exigent giving rates than the ones here). A drama that has also a complicated plot but was a success is Joy of Life (there's one idol there, xiao zhan but he barely appears). Really people here are confusing @_@ but yes the presence of an idol can make the drama a huge success even if isn't so good.
This is such a good show and I've saw so many enthusiastic people recommending it, why such low ratings? I was hoping it could have an 8.4 at least. There's any part who is dragging in the middle or near the end?
