I had never heard of suicide by charcoal briquette until I saw it in a few K-Dramas but none involved a fire. I’m in the U.S. and have never even seen the kind of briquette they use before.

I thought she realized she was starting to have feelings for him in Ep 7 when she asked her roommate if actors often fall for their co-stars.

And she clearly enjoyed the kisses because she was offended when he said they were a mistake and offered compensation.

Figuratively. He’s just found out that his one and only friend—the only person he trusts—is most likely the one trying to have him killed.

And to make things worse, the only other person he’s ever trusted—before she abandoned him so cruelly—is trying to get back into his life and reopening old wounds.

We also have him realizing how desperately lonely he is. What he said to the ex at dinner was the truth. LSA has stuck by his side ever since the accident—and even before then. He’s gotten accustomed to having someone caring about him and looking after him and he didn’t realize how much he needed her companionship until he thought she was going to leave.

The first ep is a tad slow but it gets better and better with every ep. Kim Jae-uck and Krystal are both hilarious and the show’s entertaining and unpredictable and definitely crazy. It’s an enemies-to-lovers storyline so we’re just starting to ease into the romance at the end of Ep 8, but it seems like things will progress fairly quickly if the Ep 9 preview is anything to go by.

The SML is important to the storyline but he is not geometrically tied to either the FL or the ML in a romantic sense. The ML’s ex wants him back so it’s a love triangle, not a square.

The SML isn’t annoying and it looks like there will be a triangle but he’s not involved. The ML’s ex is the third leg but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be a stressful triangle as it’s very lopsided.
