I didn't like her character in Taxi Driver but she definitely is a great actress! Still haven't seen most of her works but movie/film might just be her domain. Love her in Samjin!

I'm definitely seeing FC Top Girl's energy in FC Actionista's preparation rn for the next season. Their members always post their snaps training TOGETHER as a team. I really can't wait what will happen! I have a feeling they would be a championship contender next season!
Congratulations FC Top Girl! They really just proved this season that they are best team (with the best teamwork). They were amazing this whole league! Definitely deserved the trophy and gold for the group training they kept doing! Good job to their previous coach who really honed their individual and group skills.
Not to discredit them (because the momentum the whole match felt like theirs and their passing plays are still as insanely good) but I just have to say this too... Irene's lack of practice caused their team too many goals. She was obviously not the same as when she was fully focused on training for the sports. She is late in reading direction and she can't keep up with the ball even if she reads it correctly. It's sad to see her game getting lower and lower as the season progressed but I still think she deserves a kudos for being a reliable GK for FC Giants in three seasons. It's evident we won't be seeing her in the next league anymore. If you'll look at the FC Giants' D-1 training shown prior the match, she wasn't even present in their last practice for their final game. It's a pity but I'm hoping her the best and the happiness in the future!
Meanwhile, Ayumi is obviously the best GK this season because damn, her focus on the ball is really amazing! She also reacts so fast!
Finally, as what I've said previously... Heo Kyung Hee is about to turn into the best player this show would have (and technically, fostered - because unlike some of the aces, excluding Jeon Hyein, Heo really has no prior experience with playing soccer). Imagine playing in just a short length of time AND already playing like that? She's so insane! I can't wait how she'll deliver in the next season!
This girl is growing up to be a graceful and talented actress! Her little stint in Thank You, Doctor was so good. Time flies so fast! I used to gush about how cute and adorable she has been as Ah Li, then she transformed into a beautiful young actress.
Cubic might just be his best work (but only because the character itself didn't require much acting)! It's kinda frustrating how he isn't improving though. He got the looks and the height, but acting is not there! Oh well... I guess acting might not be what he's most passionate about? This might be why he isn't taking any scripts? That, or he isn't getting scripts anymore because production can't trust him to embody a role.
I hope someone could upload GOALympics they did for Lunar special! Part 1 was so fun (and Part 2 later is looking great too). I need to be able to re-watch the show with Eng sub! Does anyone know if Viki's gonna do it too?
I'm back here to say I'm still amazed how Steven was able to smoothly transition from idol dramas to doing a lot more — working as main alongside respected names in the industry and getting great scripts. It's true that he is an amazing actor so he deserves this but it's fascinating how his management was able to path his career like this. Is he from a big company?
This started a bit promising! The leads have chemistry and they are a good looking pair BUT things went downhill fast with so many crazy characters introduced. They usually have only one crazy character then one main villain BUT they have so many here that the light and fluffy tone was easily overwritten. I thought this was just gonna be like Kimmy’s Panyachon Kon Krua with ML hiding his identity.
Talking about visuals, Patricia’s styling was fine but her makeup was meh in this! She looks pallid with how light everything was (especially her lip colour) but it’s probably because they were following makeup trend that time. I have to say though… Mint Nawinda, despite the witchy character, would have to be the consistent stunner of this lakorn! She ate everyone with her visuals in this and the cast playing FAs were all visuals. That’s how barbie looking she was! She’s so pretty.
I like her. I think she's built a reputation in a short time where actors of SJK's stature want to work with her.…
I'm also not that convinced by YJG yet! I have watched two of his works now and I still have yet to find myself mindblown with him as an actor. Perhaps not his problem though! I mean, he was quite decent in BE but the character itself was meh. Maybe, I just haven't found a role of his that is remarkable tbw!
Anyway, the cast of BE is a stellar one though! Shin Ha Kyun deserved his Baeksang Best Actor for his performance. Choi Sung Eun, Choi Dae Hoon, and Kim Shin Rook were great supports for him. And the villains lead by Choi Jin Ho and Heo Sung Tae really maintained the tension of the show.
I do recommend watching it despite me not really considering it the greatest of shows. I liked its first half better than the second. But the acting is brilliant so there's that! And the bond of the characters aka Manyang people is what has bound the show imo!

Watch her in Beyond Evil! She was astounding there. That's when I knew she is one of those built different when it comes to acting. There's so many gems in the industry. It's understandable to view them through a different lens or react to them with a different criteria. But I don't think I'll be one to judge their talent just basing on how long they are in the industry. If they're born talented, then it's just natural for them to be casted (especially if they auditioned and got it not through connections).
This is totally unrelated (and might be an exaggeration) but it's sort of a cathartic feeling when you get fortunate enough to discover talented people in such an early part of their career.
I'm deleting my first reply to you, as I had a bad day and took it out on you. I'm leaving the reply with the…
Thank you for saying that! I have never deemed myself magnanimous. I’m far from that! Tbh, I actually think I am even petty to clap back like that. It was fine when they said I should buy a dictionary. I kinda sensed my comment was misconstrued the moment my 2nd and 3rd paragragraphs (even though I know it's not considered proper ones lol) were taken as a unit and then, OP was like I'm fickle and contradictory. So that's why I said I still stand by the belief that they don't care much about who they get to pair with for as long as they like a role. 3rd paragraph (more of it being list of names) is just me being a fan who would love them to keep working with others. [Ngl though, I gave OP attention partly because it kinda hit a nerve when they mentioned that a tinfoil can't be gold or something. Some of my favorites may not be hallyu-level of popularity but they are talented actresses! International audience might not be that familiar to some of them but I'm assuming the insiders in their industry know who are gaining their momentum for their craft. To say I ought to read more resources because I don't know what I'm saying when I know enough of my favorites' accolades? It's kinda offending to see comments like that when I was just rejoicing to see some casting news about CSE.]
Anyway, I prolly took too much of your time reading this nonsense of reply I gave you. I'm still learning to do what you said. It's always hard to have your meaning misinterpreted and therefore, be judged or attacked for something you have not done/said at all... so my first response is something more on the line of diving a bit more into detail with my intention; then, stop once they still attack like that and conversation doesnt go anywhere. Honestly, it's an arduous task to think when I should or shouldn't try to be polite. Still, I would want to end things as civilly as it could.
Whatever the case may be, I'm genuinely grateful with what you said about ignoring/filtering noises. I'll keep it in mind! Have a good day, @atom951! :)

Thanks! I appreciate that! Tbh, I have been taken off-guard to have my English attacked like that. I did not come from an English-speaking country so my wording at times would prolly have some loopholes and may be misconstrued at times. I do appreciate constructive criticisms but I admit that the way you worded it felt like you were using bad grammar as an ad hominem. (Still, I chose not to edit my original comment as I reckon replying to you with what I meant was a better way to clear any misunderstanding if there's any. Lol)
Anyway, I hope you get to find a reason to smile today. Have a good day!
Yes, chungmuro has always been "those who get to be awarded by the most prestigious award giving bodies." I know it AND if you look at the awards and nominations of the people who I mentioned above, they ALL QUALIFY as chungmuro actors and actresses. As for ticketing power, that is not always the case for some of their works but that's why twitter OP wrote" OR. " Sure, sometimes it can be both BUT like, that accolades: ticketing power? That's exactly how you can easily differentiate a film from a movie. Lol. Films aren't always meant to be profitable and it could still be considered something by critics because the artistry and technicality are the things given focus BUT movies has consumer aspect as a big gauge of whether things turned out well or not. (NOTE: I'm NOT looking down on the latter in case someone comes at me again. Lol)
At any rate, that's why I said I wanted my favorites (specified that KGE is a current chungmuro while JYB and CSE are still not there yet but looking promising if one considers their accolades) to work and keep working with them.
Okay, I don't know why you're at it when I'm just commenting how happy I am that CSE and my other faves are getting booked? I also just voiced my opinion how I wish for them to work with other chungmuro actors and actresses in the future?
Current chungmuro actress = KGE because she already has the title
Emerging faves = CSE, JYB because they are getting recognized (and collecting awards/nominations from "prestigious" awarding bodies) but still don't have the title formally
Oh, I still firmly believe they choose the roles they AUDITION in because it piques their interest (script and character). THAT'S THEM and I'm happy to support that! BUT as a fan, IT IS ME who hopes for them to be casted alongside other chungmuros. Can't I hope for them to work with commensurably talented cast as well? After all, a stellar ensemble (cast and production) can make it or break it for a project. It's NEVER only about a single person when it comes to shows or motion pictures. Lol
And just to keep the record straight, I am in no way shading SJK with my comment? I know he's a good actor too BUT like, can't I list who I want my favorites to work with next considering this is an article related to CSE (who I happen to like)?
Lol. Thanks for saying I have lousy grammar, syntax, and vocabulary! I already know I'm awful at those!
The way the industry works once you achieved to get a main role you are entitled to stay on that spot
This! Unless there is a support role that interests them, then they might still play a non-main role. Rarely happens in K-ent though probably because of how their companies don't let them to choose those (some prolly don't even hand them supporting role scripts).

I see so much potential in her!
