Tbh, I have quite a bad impression on him so I can't like his vibe at all! Sometimes, you are just bound not to like an artist for some reason. It happens and it's totally fine as long as you're not throwing hate speech at them and not giving a damn about their work/activity.
As for this dude, I havent really commented about him and his works EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE TIME because I was really fond of the series' S2 so I'm disappointed that he got casted.
Anyway, you do you! If you arrived at the conclusion that you like him or whatever after reading more details, then it's up to you! As for me, I prefer to stay away from his works because I'm uncomfortable whenever I see his face.
I loved him in Watcher! That was my first watch from him 3 years ago. He's really an excellent actor!
This series is my first actual role from him and he's pretty okay imo! I dropped ABS because I found it a bit cringe-y for my taste!
As for S2, the kids are okay! Haha. As a matter of fact, I like how the characters are written there. I think their backstories for the characters are much more interesting as well. Idk if you like medical series but I enjoyed how S2 focused more in the daily stuff they experience in the hospital. Each episode is really centered in the lives of both the medical personnel and patient rather than emphasizing on the romance between the two main characters like what happened in S1. In a way, it's like they finally found how to utilize 'romance' in the everyday things they have in the hospital instead of just depending on the lovestory of the leads. Just my opinion but the characters and script are written more neatly. Anyway, even Kim Sabu is written much likable this season. He's now more expressive of his thoughts. He could still be his cryptic self but I liked how he's more open with his two new pupils (even with the compliments he gives them).
As for the cast, it's fascinating how they seem to have gotten even better in their potrayal of their roles as medical personnel (especially those who got to reprise their roles). Compared to S1, watching each episode of S2 is like really seeing how busy they could be in a hospital. Idk how accurate the cases they bring forward in S2 but as an audience, I feel like they were much well-versed in their research in the latter season. I'm not in the medical field but compared to S2, some cases/stories they had in S1 are quite sloppy even in the layman's eyes. At least, S2 is not as loose in terms of how they presented things. Lol
Another day to marvel at Janice's wondrous performance as an actress. She only did guest role in Meet Yourself but that short appearance is definitely one with a lot of impact. It's just amazing how she could live her characters' lives like that. She's such a natural actress. I'm hoping she and Liu Yi Fei could work on another project as best friends again. Their chemistry is so vibrant!
He is such a good looking guy! His character wasn't written well but he makes such a fine version Sheng Huainan still in My Blue Summer! Visual-wise, he is ranked one out of the many remakes of this work. Hopefully, he gets his breakthrough role.
I loved him in Watcher! That was my first watch from him 3 years ago. He's really an excellent actor!
Omg! I finally met someone who didn't like S1 that much as well! It was an okay show but it wasn't as compelling as S2! Maybe because they took some time writing the next season but there's really more improvement in the script of S2.
Nah! In my case, I kinda accidentally read about his real life situation before I started Again, My Life so even though I tried to push through watching because I'm a fan of the starring actor, the mere presence of this actor made me uncomfortable. Hence, I was kinda just fastforwarding his scenes and more often, reading the subtitles while trying to block his face from my view. That's what I meant by the discomfort. In a way, I don't really have a gauge on how he is as an actor since I am technically not watching him?
Anyway, there's so much series to watch! Me not consuming anything where this dude is a part of is probably not much of a big deal. I'm just voicing out my disappointment here that he was casted, however, since I really liked S2 of this series.
I don't think I'm ready for this but I kinda feel that this might be Irene's last league with FC Giants. Among the FC Giants members, she's definitely the most who can't maintain her training routine. She always has to travel somewhere for either her career or just catching up with her fashion insider friends. Her lack of regular training is apparent since she's not as agile in reacting to the goals made as she used to!
Idk if I'm just being a worry-wart but she is one of those who did not attend the show's sports festival for all the cast (Super League and Challenge League) as well! This is basing on IG stories/posts by the casts or their main page.
I would be really sad if she leaves but I understand too if she wants out. Even though these members gained passion and love for the sports, it won't and can't always be their top priority! But if she does leave, FC Giants would certainly have a hole in their GK position. Like, Irene might not be in her best form this season but her presence as their GK still gives a certain assurance imo! It's a reduction of anxiety for them tbh knowing they don't need to worry much about their post being unattended!
That Super League match between FC Giants and FC Actionistas is probably the best match so far in this show! It…
I know compared to others, FC Giants' improvement is more on the slower side BUT damn, Lee Hyun Yi (my gal) was really on fire this match. There were even some parts in the match where she was able to outwit Hyein. My bias wrecker, Song Haena! Finally, all her hard work paid off. I always believed she had it in her. She was the unsung hero for the team this match. I'M SO PROUD! Good decision limiting Cha Seo Rin's minutes in the field. I still think she has potential but I always find her court awareness a bit lacking (hence, why she keeps on missing on chances). She's a bit better than FC Anaconda's Yoonju but their court awareness are both kinda bad. Heo Kyung Hee? I HAVE NO WORDS ANYMORE! SHE'S LITERALLY GODSENT! I can't believe she just started training futsal/soccer BUT some athletes are really just built different. A few more trainings/matches and she might just actually give FC Top Girl's Kim Bo Kyung a run for that ace position! Irene is still not on her usual best A-game condition BUT she still did well. There were many times Jin Jung Sun was blocking her path so that's why her defense got ruined but I'm so glad they still won! Anyway, Jin Jung Sun still did great defending!
Overall, this was FC Giants' best performance after having such a long slump. Their last brilliant game would probably be that one with FC Wonder Woman (and that has been way too long) BUT this for sure was their best game. Their loss against FC Top Girl must have been a wake up call for all of them because they kinda weren't in their best condition in that imo! They were way too lax and lethargic in that match! Irene, in particular, was really not defending her post well but I have a feeling it's because she wasn't able to practice as much since she is back to being even more hectic, flying abroad and attending so many fashion shows!
This is beside the point BUT I always feel like the FC Giants and FC Anaconda are probably the ones with the most hectic schedule in this show (hence, less time to gel together as a group). I'm not saying the other groups don't have any other work beside this show obviously. Sure, the other teams have members that have busy schedules as well given the nature of their jobs as singers and actors but they have their 'rest periods or breaks' when their projects are done so they have more opportunities to allot time to build their dynamics as a team. Also, they don't get to be busy simultaneously like how I feel it is for FC Giants and FC Anaconda are. I mean, Lee Hyun Yi and Song Haena's faces are literally everywhere as they are always doing variety shows AND active models. Jung Jin Sun is prolly the most active model among them. Irene, again, is back to going back and forth countries... now that restrictions have eased! She is a big insider in their industry so she always gets to be invited in a lot of fashion events. Cha Seo Rin is an active athlete (golfer). Heo Kyung Hee is not a model anymore but she is probably the only one in the show with a 'normal' job. She's such a cool person who pours so much time and effort in training to catch up with others and strengthen her basic skills. Needs to find her strong mentality when she was still an active athlete though. It was obvious she got affected big with her light squabble with Lee Hye Jung.
Now, there's NO WAY I'm trying to downplay every practice or training done by anyone from any team. No way because it's obvious how everyone always tries their best! But yeah, I'm just saying I think as a collective group, it's more difficult for the two teams I mentioned above to play complete as a team as often (because their schedules can't be easily match with one another) AND SO, the reason why they can't play as a team that cohesive compared to other groups. This is the reason why they weren't quick to establish their passing plays. They often do their individual trainings but don't play as much as a group like how, for example, FC Top Girl and FC Firemoth did it (and that's why FC TG is really playing cohesively as a team now in this season).
As for FC Actionistas: Of course, Jung Hye-in is already a given ace BUT she was in such a great condition this match! Her kick-ins were so delicious to watch! She is really such a precise striker. Actually, the big trio (Jung Hye-in, Lee Hyejung, Lee Young Jin) of FC Actionista's presence was felt throughout the episode. The goalkeeper's nerves is still easily shaken though but she'll gradually establish it once she gains more experience. They also still have hole for their 4th man but they would be better next league for sure!
LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST... FC GIANTS IS FINALS BOUND!
That Super League match between FC Giants and FC Actionistas is probably the best match so far in this show! It was so intense! I'm so proud to see all their improvements, especially Hyunyi and Haena for FC Giants and Youngjin for FC Actionistas!
There's so many brilliant actors who can play the villain role this season and they just had to choose that LKY guy! My excitement literally died down. They literally had one job AND still hired that dude. I might not watch this season and just hope they'll have S4 with the S2 cast reprising their role and S3 villain really bidding farewell!
Anyway, that casting news was such a downer thing to see today!
I'm glad I didn't start this drama. It was on my watchlist but I'll delete it.
S1 was boring for me but S2 was amazing! That's why I got excited for S3 knowing S2 cast reprised their roles BUT this news just got to be a joke! I refuse to watch this guy as the main antagonist of the show.
