I think this is all set up for Kang Chul's character growth. They're bringing him to a really low point so things/he can start changing and getting better.
The way that I see it, she became a doctor because of her grandmother and joined Gookil Hospital to figure out what happened in the surgery (and maybe get revenge?) but it's episode 14 and we've gotten no where with the plot. It's kind of disappointing. Like I'm enjoying the drama, it's cute, but I'm still disappointed.
So I was right with why Sung Moo wants to kill Kang Chul, he is afraid he will go after him. That's his only reason.…
Oh my god me too! I really hope he finds out some time in the middle of the episode and not at the end. I will die if she tells him and then the episode ends right there and we have to wait until next week to see his reaction! *Knocks on wood*

@Loy Personally I think he was planning on framing a random character. In the first episode she was looking through his notes and there was something sketchy about the prosecutor that was on Kang Chul's case (the guy that wanted to become a politician or whatever so he was trying to score big with Kang Chul's case). Realistically speaking how would the webtoon have become so successful going for 7 years without any progress in the story lol. I wonder if it'll come into play later in the drama.
cant believe writer made his character shot her -__- and ON THE CHEST! not even for hurt but kill! what if that…
He said he already knew she wouldn't die and it makes me wonder (I'd have to watch the scene again to see if the gun went off) if she had gotten shot when he had gotten attacked the night before and it hadn't hurt her then, and that's why he kept staring at her then when he was backing out of room during the attack
The story is extremely interesting so far. But the characters are too over-expressive and fake for my taste, it's…
You can associate the acting with how the story takes place inside a comic. I think Lee Jong Suk said something like that in an interview recently, that he's acting a certain way because he's playing a webtoon character.

Technically, isn't her dad the killer? He created this terrible thing that happened to Kang Chul's family. It's like hiring an assassin, even though he didn't shoot the gun himself, he made it happen.
I wonder who or what stoped the time and saved Kang Cheol 0.0
No, remember that the car got erased from the father's drawing? I think either Kang Chul did it himself, or it's one of those "it's not your time to die yet" things.
