I think when the real culprit stole his face, he took his soul too and that's why he was able to control Oh Seong Moo's body from the webtoon. So when the criminal died and he went back to being Oh Seong Moo, their souls were like merged and he became a part of the webtoon.

Okay so I just rewatched Healer and the Elder's men were sent to take the tape and kill Park Dong Chul to hide all evidence of the truth of Kil Ahn's and Joon Seok's deaths and the Farmers' existence.

Yes but we shouldn't have to assume all of this, they should have told us. And yes the world goes on but I meant more like, Kang Chul suddenly disappeared, how did the people close to him react? How did they move on? *What happened to Do Yoon?* & Like shineean said, Kang Chul wasn't a hacker he was rich and had a ton of resources in the W world (which he no longer has in the real world, as he legally does not exist) + Yeon Joo wasn't a fantastic doctor the writers made that clear in the beginning; they don't have the resources to create a fake identity. I'm not questioning how Kang Chul got there, I'm questioning what he'll do now that he is there. Something the writers /should have/ included in the finale.

There's a drama I won't name in case you haven't seen it, but that's exactly what they did. They suddenly revealed in like the second to last episode that the guy knew since like the middle of the show and had just been waiting for her to tell him and because of it I can't stop thinking "what if" lol

If they do end up going back to the real world together, I hope they take Do Yoon with them. The poor boy has been through so much without even a glimpse into what was really going on, he deserves a happy ending.
