Idk if you've seen the Hunger Games but they basically want to make her like Katniss. They want to make her (and her mother) the symbol of the rebellion and give the people someone to unite behind against the king.

It wasn't just the parts about being raised by his grandmother, but the entire thing was really genuine. There was one time he went on Strong Heart with Minho and he spoke about how his grandmother raised him and started tearing up when he mentioned how he once told his grandmother "I didn't ask for you to raise me" and he had to stop talking and calm down. I'm really in awe of how personal he made the character.

I totally get what you're saying and I agree, but not in the context I made the comment about. I should clarify: I made the comment after I saw someone on tumblr tell their followers that the drama was stupid and not worth the watch just after seeing episode one. Completely slandered every part of it including what they thought the plot would be. In that specific context, they are judging what they haven't seen and their words are discouraging someone who may be interested in the drama, which is where my problem lies.

You can drop it, it's your opinion and your tastes, I just don't understand why you (or anyone else really) wouldn't want to wait until they actually get to the events of the synopsis before you do.

@CrusadingAngel I get that. There are dramas I've dropped by episode 2 because I couldn't stand the acting. What I mean is that people shouldn't be saying that the story itself is bad without having actually seen it. You can't judge something that isn't there. No, people shouldn't watch every episode, but they should at least give the first couple a chance before they start telling others that it's not worth the watch. I'm speaking along the same lines of why people shouldn't write reviews before a drama is done. If you're bored, you're bored. But seeing the first episode doesn't give you a right to condemn the entire drama.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but you can't judge a plot you haven't seen. I don't think it's right to tell people that an entire drama is bad and they shouldn't watch it when you've only seen one episode out of the entire thing like it doesn't make any sense.

if you're on Ji Woon's ship, I'd say watch their scenes together and skim through the rest of the drama. Ha Won and Ji Woon scenes are really cute but hye ji's plot is really not worth it.

The guy that was pretending to be Ha Won's dad and was friends with Ha Won's mom said that her mom was helping people escape the burning building and that a woman had given Ha Won's mom a ring and asked Ha Won's mom to give the ring to the her son (a.k.a Ji Woon). So all along Ha Won thought the ring was her mother's but in reality it was the ring Ji Woon's mom asked Ha Won's mom to give to Ji Woon.

I don't understand how people decide to drop dramas or put them on hold after seeing only the first episode. The plot hasn't even finished being set up yet, they've barely touched the conflict; like seriously, wait until the story actually starts before you tell people it's shit.

The pilot was great and those action scenes, wow, I am 100% sold
