For those of you who don't know, Key's grandmother really did raise him and he was really close with her. She died in 2014, and her death anniversary is coming up on the 23rd. I wonder if this was a sort of tribute to her.. Anyway, it made me tear up.

When she gets caught talking to her phone like that, I'm going to die of second-hand embarrassment.

I see many complains about Yoona being the main, but that reminds me so much of reply 1988. So much bashing on…
Same, people were saying the roll was like written for Hyeri; I'm hoping it's the same case here. That this role is perfect for Yoona and taps into some hidden acting skills or something and the end result is an overall amazing drama.

Same, I'm really hesitant because of all the distaste surrounding her casting but I'm hoping better writing and production will lead to better acting

Ikr! I don't know if you've seen the video, but in the bts they said they used 100 cameras to film the action scenes, it's crazy!

I've been hearing that scenes are being cut from the airing and added back in the episode for the re-run, is this true? Is it a constant thing? I really want to watch the new episodes right when they're released, but not if I'm going to be missing scenes...

Okay so you mean to tell me that Hye Ji has been acting like a psychopathic stalker for years when they had NEVER DATED BEFORE? "It's not like we were dating to begin with." Oh my god. I'd understand a little bit if he unfairly broke up with her, but... wow I'm speechless.

Am I the only one wondering what the mains actually do? I know Ha Won is probably waiting for school to start…
Ji Woon worked at that garage until the grandpa forced them to fire him, and I think Hyun Min just lives off his money waiting for the day he inherits the company or something

I liked the ending but... I have so many questions. I wish it would've been at least 15 minutes longer to explain…
I didn't mentioned the theme of the drama in any of my comments, I didn't have any unanswered questions regarding the theme of the drama, you randomly brought it up yourself so therefore your comment is off topic.

It's not just how Kang Chul will exist in the real world, a whole bunch of comments on this mydramalist page are from people with unanswered questions from the finale.

If the problem didn't exist, multiple people would not be commenting about it. You need to be objective; the ending had flaws. That does not mean the drama was bad. You do not need to get super defensive.
+ You are getting wayyy off topic with this nature of existence thing. Yes he became a real person when he became aware, but that does not solve the lack of documentation issue. This is not something that can be erased with your imagination. Think about it: this very real person could get a very real illness or injury, and how would they explain his lack of identity to the hospital staff? Crazy scenario, yeah I get that, but the point I'm trying to make is that the ending would have been more complete and rounded if they showed Yeon Joo and Kang Chul adjusting to their new lives.
I was not questioning anything about how the drama dealt with the parallel worlds. I don't understand why you felt the need to justify it.
Honestly, did you read my comment? You keep trying to support how Kang Chul came to the world and the existence of the parallel world, but that's not what I'm questioning. I'm not questioning how he got there or what allowed him to cross over to the real world. I'm questioning what he will do now that he's there. These are two totally different things. The writers made it very clear in the drama how Kang Chul travels between worlds; you don't need to repeat it over and over again.

I honestly do not understand why you keep coming back here and repeating yourself on things completely unrelated to the points I'm making. I'm sorry you can't look past your bias and see that the ending was flawed and that you're blinded by your vision of a perfect ending, but my points are valid. Imagining and analyzing can't fix everything.

Well good for you and your imagination, but other people would prefer to see rather than guess. This is a television drama after all.
& Being a technical genius does not equal hacking skills. I thought they meant he was good with machines, and that's why he was able to take apart and fix the tablet. I don't remember hacking coming into any part of the plot. I'll say it again: because he was a famous billionaire in W, it allowed him to do things he won't be able to do as someone who legally does not exist in the real world. How could they be a normal couple leading average lives, when one half of the couple came out of a webtoon and, as I have said multiple times, does not legally exist? He can't get a job. He can't buy a house. Can't buy a car. The two of them cannot legally register their marriage until he gets an identity. These aren't little questions; these are big issues.
Signal was intended to be an open ending and I haven't seen Nine so I cannot comment on that, but the writers/producers were not going for an open ending like Signal. They were trying to wrap up the story and leave only Yeon Joo's and Kang Chul's relationship open to interpretation so viewers can imagine a happily ever after or whatever they want to imagine happens to the two of them, but they left other holes.

I'm not talking about the webtoon itself, they explained that in the drama, I'm talking about the real world. If creating a fake ID is the route Kang Chul took then the writer should have showed it to us. Making a decent living is not equivalent to the billionaire status Chul had in W. They still don't have a lot of the resources in the real world that they did in W, you can't argue against this. And sure Seong Moo made a ton of money from the webtoon that Yeon Joo can use, but there are still legal matters that were left unsolved. Was he legally declared dead? Was he just reported missing? This wasn't a complete open ending; they tried to wrap up the story but left too many questions unanswered. It's unfortunate, but that's what happened. I'm not saying this was a bad drama, it's one of my favorites of 2016, but that bias doesn't change the fact that the ending was incomplete.

This also might just be my personal opinion, but they should have had more after she found out her dad was dead. They just jumped to a two minute scene by the water with no explanation of how much time has passed or what kind of lives they were living and they ended the story. And it still carried over the grim feeling of a girl finding out her father died and being left with one last gift from him. They didn't give the audience time to recover, there was no comic relief to alleviate negative feelings. They just ended it.

TLDR; the drama was great, but objectively speaking the ending could've been better. End.
