I think they might be alluding to the Sokcho submarine incident during which nine soldiers drowned in a captured…
The Sewol disaster happened in 2014, a year before this short was filmed. But, if I remember correctly, the director also references another water-related tragedy that happened in 1998 (the dialogue suggests the vampire might have been one of the deceased soldiers). Two unfortunate national tragedies.
do you remember where you watched it without subs?
Dang, respect! 🙌 I wish I had the talents do that! No way I would be able to understand a full-fledged art house film without the dialogue. At this point I've had to abandon so many movies simply because they didn't have subs. And I've got the feeling nobody wants to work on subbing Lee Sang Woo's movies because they're too controversial anyway. 😂
is there someone who have a alternative link for this series? because ais play not work at my placeit's ok if…

I don't recall much apart from the pretentious dialogue and atrocious acting of that one Dutch actor. Doesn't the guy commit suicide on his boat in the end? If I remember correctly, each of the storylines highlights a different aspect of how people grapple with death, loss, and grief. But rather than depicting death as some horrid incident (as we often tend to see it), the director shows us that death is something that that can also be desired and sought after by people. That's why the guy in that last scene wonders whether he has ended up in the afterlife, or whether his dreams have just come true.
Idk man, original message and all, but the whole thing was kinda boring to me.
This only needs some bondage and an occasional 'babygirl' exclamation and it'll be right on par with movies like Fifty Shades of Grey and 365 Days. Yeehaw!
Interesting and novel. It's probably the first Korean film I've seen that manages to address both asexuality and polyamory. The whole thing is a bit short, and there is still a lot left unexplored when it comes to Minho's relationship with sex (e.g. he doesn't only seem seem repulsed by sex; he also appears to be generally terrified by the prospects of having it-- a perspective that isn't universally shared amongst asexuals). Minho is a complex character and longer screen time would have done his curiosity and anxiety more justice. That being said, the short format works well as a conversational starter.
Still no subs unfortunately. And I highly doubt anyone's gonna spend time creating them at this point...ðŸ˜
