He's known Meng Ziyi for a while, and they've done a show already. HY was in blossom as well. I've seen a bunch of clips, and they seem to share one brain cell; they're legit in sync, you know? But I also don't know if it's the type of chemistry where you end up shipping them 😩 because MZ has a strong CP with Li Yunrui. I saw on xhs that the trailer for Nine Sutra went viral for their acting and chemistry before the show even came out.

tbh I get what you mean as well, I personally really enjoyed it and hit fast forward on the scenes I couldn't handle (only a few) I've watched a couple cdramas and I know they sometimes like to do this when there's a time jump. This drama the time jump happens much later in the show that's why people feel this way.

Overall I really enjoyed Mumu's character, she's fun, cute and a ball of sunshine, she's also confident and only very cute around JZ. Like I said I'm still not very used to the "cute" situation that goes on at times but I wouldn't want that to stop me from watching the show tbh because I enjoyed it a lot, it was so fun. A lot of people wanted Mumu as an adult to be explored more, herself and her career but there wasn't enough time. TBH Thailand arc was insane , it had a feel to it and I don't think anyone would've wanted them to go 50/50 on time spent in Thailand and Nanjing

Also if you try watching it and you feel you can't get into it that's also perfectly fine!
