What I find interesting is that Xiao Yu is similar to the character CXX plays in the drama "My Boss," but he manages to make them "feel" different. He didn't play them the same way. That's interesting. How do actors do that lol.
I went to sleep after watching up to ep 5 and was super giddy to wake up and watch the rest. My face after I woke…
Also does this show lean into her disorder? more than a rom com, I feel like i wasn't expecting that from the show. it seems like it's going to be a big part. Sort of dark

hmm okay, my expectations have been lowered a bit. bruh why does this always happen with kdramas and we've been waiting for 2 years. The first few eps were so good!
I'm not sure if you guys felt the same way, but one scene I loved was in ep 28 when Mumu and Zhao Zhao went to visit her mum, and JZ saw the huge garden with lots of plants—seeing how much Chris loved and valued her mum in a way Jin Qiang never did. In ep 12 or 13, JZ told Mumu that they divorced because of a potted plant
I'm loving that they're building friendship and not running into a relationship, most dramas start with butterflies, followed by them falling in love, then something goes wrong or second act break up.
But my sweethearts in this show are taking their time with little to no inkling of romance, just sweetness heheheheh
I love how cozy this feels, especially the scene where she was crying and he made her draw to distract her, so warm. I really like the neighbourhood they live in. It feels so homey. I know this isn't the type of drama, but i wouldv'e loved the setting we already have, then knowing a bit more about people in the lane, maybe they each have their personal stories, etc (Just a thought)
From the tik tok edits and poster, I didn't think the show would be cosy at all. Till I watched

Mr Pei needs to get out of my face
