They are ageist if ml was younger they'll be disappointed if there was no romance Some Kdrama fans can't accept…
Not sure what’s with the hate for older male leads these days, I’ve seen a couple in both k and C dramas that don’t appreciate actors for their skills, charm or charisma but just come for their ages
I really like how they didn’t over complicate the plot, sometimes I see people saying they wanted some parts to be more complicated which I sort of get but that could make the story more fragile and introduce large plot holes
Especially with the villains, to me this show was partly about building trust and healing, bringing really strong villains in would have broken the plot if not done well especially because of the 36 episodes
We can already see that part of the ending was rushed.
Girl you’re not the only one, that’s why I’m wondering why the rating is till low
Tbh I rely on Mdl rating to a certain degree and seeing a low rating might deter me. This is such a good show and should be enjoyed by many. The actors and production team don’t deserve this, I don’t know why we’re so sensitive to little things like age gaps these days
That’s her voice in real life, there’s nothing she can do about it ðŸ˜, she’s not cutesy and annoying dw!
That’s her real voice, you should watch the show because she’s not cutesy in any way shape or form. If she was people would complain in the comments
I started this and I’m five episodes in and so far, I’m still not hooked. like it’s soooooo boring… sighhhh
have you watched one and only? I think you should watch that before this.
This is more of a drama where the leads have 0 issues, both are kind and considerate and nothing much happens, just theyre growth and some family drama which is still ok to me
I'm rewatching for the third time, and one thing I have to commend is the direction Sheng Sheng Ma's character was taken, especially in an age gap romance.
She's cute, but she didn't behave cutesy and didn't have a cutesy voice, whilst having a youthful presence and portraying being spoiled by her family as the only girl.
In contrast to 2 other shows which have the same concept (age gap couple, with FL being the baby of the family) which are Hidden Love and Amidst a Snow Storm of Love, Zhao Lusi and Zhoa Jin Mai both did fantastic jobs in their works but the direction that was taken in those showss was a female lead that was sort of cutesy if you get what I mean.
I'll recommend you 2 dramas 1. The devil judge 2. Will love in spring (chinese)
Now I’m curious to know what your favorite Chinese and Korean dramas are! Because will love in spring isn’t a show a lot of people watched and it was one of my faves last year!

Just an observation, I enjoyed all 3 shows
