he's already married in the drama! so a bit of romance I'd say (especially during the final two eps) but it's already there so it doesn't take too much focus off the story.

also, so good to see a show where the final episode might be the best one!

surprised by the relatively low rating of this – it was great, the cast was already promising, and I feel like there were quite a lot of things happening for only 8 episodes. would definitely love to see a season 2!

hard to have a proper romance when you're fighting to survive but they will be reunited on multiple occasions, and for full episodes at that, don't worry :) and i think the romance part is done well considering the circumstances - they're both devoted to each other even when they're apart, even though the romance is not the main element of the story obviously.

watching this as a soon to be 28 year old hits different. whew, can't say it didn't make me tear up and think about my own future. seolhyun and siwan were amazing, as expected.

I love Lee Junhyuk and I was so excited about the idea of having a Dongjae spin-off but I didn't let my hopes get too high – happy to say they exceeded it! I really loved this, the cast was fantastic, the story interesting, and Dongjae's constant moral dilemma and his past biting him in the ass was my favourite aspect of this. The wife cameo was a pleasant surprise as well! All in all, these 10 episodes flew by and I enjoyed them a lot, although I wish we got a longer ending, or one with a tiny bit more substance to it. I'd totally be up for s2. 😉 Deserves a better rating here for sure.

I would say not really, you can read the summary of s2, simply to know what happened to Dongjae – he had a bit of a character development and played a major storyline device in s2. 😊 I know everyone complains s2 was slow but I personally enjoyed it a lot.

a bit of an open ending, bittersweet - at least that is how I felt watching it. but i loved it, i recommend the drama for sure.
