I totally understand Li Lun, I mean let's be for real, you grow up with your best friend and he's your everything. You feared and doesn't trust human your entire life and when you finally decided to give human world a chance like your bestfriend did, you saw your fellows being tortured and experimented on. You then got tricked into killing humans then, you got hurt by your best friend and the next thing you know, you got sealed away and then you get tricked by another human that planted the idea that all human are evil not knowing he's the mastermind all along. Even I would bear resentment and hatred to all mankind. I'm not justifying his actions tho.
