Okay pause, I didn't expect episode 3 to be that emotional. “Only a father understand a father's good will and only children understand a child love for their parents.” That line got me balling my eyes out. Seeing a father loving his son more than his own reputation is so rare nowadays in cdramas and honestly I love it. The actor did a good job portraying the pain of a father.

NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALLED A HIGH END DRAMA, the first episode is epic, the CGI, the outfits, the vibe got you hooked. Didn't even take them 5 minutes to get me on a chokehold. Normally I get bored on the first episode but this one is different. Also the fact that it was aired on my birthday too just make it better.

I JUST REALIZE THE LOCATION SETS IS THE SAME AS THE SET IN MOONLIGHT MYSTIQUE-

There were rumors where it said Lusi could be possibly leaving the entertainment industry and it seems like that was the case yk

I've heard that Lusi was retiring from the entertainment industry but I'm glad she chose to stick around instead. I love her and her acting so much, idk what would become of cdramas if Lusi retired early from her career. I just hope she'll find a better agency and doesn't have to overwork herself over again.

The ml sidekicks are the biggest shipper of YiGe (Yixiao+Suige) xD we're not even 5 episodes in and these two were like “Ahh so that's his highness type, there were sign all along”. They're just like us viewers lmao. Other than that, can I just say Qin and Zheyuan has unmatched chemistry? Out of all male characters I've seen paired with Qin, Zheyuan has the most chemistry with her and Heyi too.

Their stylist knew what they were doing fr cus grrrr every character are so scrumptiously beautiful

I'm sorry but I need to throw this out there but am I the only one bothered by XQS bangs? Idk if it's just had styling or anything but why does it looks so weirdly goofy (in a good way) in some angle? It's...idk how say it...poofy I guess? Or maybe it's supposed to look like that so it highlights how young XQS actually is.

Also to that one person who told me XQS was going to have a ruthless revenge arc, YOU LIAR.

YO I JUST REALIZED THIS DRAMA ENDING TOO EARLY, usually it would take like a month for a 40 episodes drama to air while this onw took half a month for all episodes to air but make senses considering we started out with 6 episodes on the first day and there were no one episode per day.

Never thought there would be a moment of me speaking for Yiren. He's not a bad person, just misled and blinded by his own pride and ego. He just want the best for his family but goes about it the wrong way, he's morally flawed.

Kaiyan on the other hand is just twisted and evil from inside out. All it took was a few words of coercion from Li Nan and he was willing to literally murder his own parents and sect. He even killed his own brother. Honestly if I was Yiren, I'd take XQS side too. Like don't tell me you expect me to be on your side after you admit to killing the person who gave birth to you and even colluded with the enemies.

Liu Suifeng, is one of the villains indeed and I'm not saying or justifying what he did to others but he's also a morally grey character. He grew up thinking his family and Baicao village were besieged for nothing and are innocent until Deng told him what Xiao Xilou actually did for him. He was just a traumatized child trying to figure out the truth.

Yiren officially lost his fight against Kaiyan for the most hated and twisted character of the year award. I don't even know what to say at this point, I know Liu Suifeng is a villain and all and I know we all dislike Yiren but compared to him, these two are flipping angels bruh.

Also I know Li Chenzhou has a wife but I'm low-key shipping him with LSF. I'm sorry TvT

Kaiyan is the smartest villain so far that I've seen this year ngl. He's cunning and calculative. He's the definition of wolf in sheep clothing. Yiren On the other hand...

I mean Xueyu isn't technically blood related to him, Kai Yan parents are her adopted/god parents so they're not siblings and beside it's apparently normal in cdramaverse that siblings that are not blood related could still marry each other so this is technically not incest otherwise china media would never allowed this to air. Also prop to Xueyu for shooting him down.

I have a feeling Yiren is competing for the most hated character in Wuxiaverse 2025 award. HE GENUINELY PISSES ME OFF CAN SOMEONE GET HIM OUT PLS. But then here come Kaiyan.
