What's the general vibe with this drama? Light-hearted, or more on the heavy/dark side, or a mix of both?

How's the romance, slow-burn or faster?

She's fine. Her and 2ML goes through an extended rough patch (mainly because the plot focuses on other aspects, namely main couple, FL's business, ML's dreams) so the focus steered away from the 2FL and 2ML. She's supportive of FL but isn't so nice to 2ML (and the second couple ending is rushed). If you want more spoilers, let me know.

Thinking of starting this, just two questions:
1) Is this voice-dubbed? If so, how is it dubbing?
2) What did people think of the female lead? Don't think I'm in a mood for a female lead that's one-dimensional/apathetic/too cold.

First scene shows a breakup happening -- how bad/angst is it? Looking for something light-hearted, not really looking for too much drama. Should I continue?

Also, is there a really prevalent love triangle? Kinda seems like there's the doctor dude, male lead, and the other idol in the mix.

I agree that it was a fitting end but felt a little out of place. For other previous 30 episodes, what attracted many viewers was the pairing and that they essentially spent majority of every episode with each other or thinking of one another. The last hour or so of the drama, they’re together in the same scene maybe 10minutes while most of it was scientific exposition. Just felt a bit underwhelming since the final scene wasn’t as emotional as I thought it would be either. Just my personal two cents.

How’s the romance? Is it primarily a mystery drama with only a bit of romance?

He kinda likes her but isn't really too serious about it. Lasts till about ep17/18 I think and then he gives up on her because he knows she likes the male lead (and supports them). The jealousy aspect isn't really that big of a deal.

I don't think it was a direct statement but the SML got the hint and started supporting ML instead. Probably a couple eps before 20.

Halfway through so some first impressions:

FL’s outfits are so cute. Oversized hoodies, collared shirts with sweater vests. ML is good looking but I think his outfits are a bit boring (but suits his character).

Lots of similarities to Love is Sweet - early living together, successful career for ML, new career for FL (against parents’ wishes) who starts off airheaded but becomes very career driven. Saved by ML early on but becomes very good at her job as time goes on.


Lots of fluff so far but you don’t get to see FL’s feelings towards ML too in depth so far. Romantic progression almost feels like it’s written from the ML POV (nothing wrong with that, just interesting for a fluffy show like this).

Any love triangles between female lead and the 2nd male lead? I'm a couple episodes in and it's feeling like it's moving in that direction a bit.

How's the romance in this? Saw the first 3 eps and it seems very comedy-based.

Same feeling. My benchmark rating used to be 8.0 for cdramas and 8.3/8.4 for kdramas but things changed pretty drastically. Some changed more than others so going to be a while before I get used to it...

Mydramalist changed their algorithm for ratings. I think they deleted a bunch of accounts and potentially spam ratings. All dramas fell in rating.

Saw it on duboku.net - it's a Chinese site though.

Watched the raws, soooo good. The pace is pretty fast which keeps it entertaining so hopefully it keeps it up. Pace might have been too fast that I'm worried the last 17 eps might drag / go full melodrama mode but hopefully not!

As of Ep 12 -- ML is still third-wheeling hard, pretty much all SML. Will update this as I continue so others can know what to expect.

Just an aside but ep 19... wow... that's crazy........

When/what ep does the drama shift to the main FL and ML? It's been all SML so far....

As much as I hate the premise of the later episodes (just finished recent up to 28), it's soooooo entertaining. I can't wait for next weeeeek.

He doesn't die. He's sad FL dies but he moves on and decides to stay with and travel with the Khitan Princess. So he gets his happy ending.

Sad ending for the main leads.
