I stumbled upon this drama accidentally. No regrets at all. Short but sweet. The best thing about it is friendships. And it's not like ordinary dramas where you can make your guess. This is unexpectedly realistic. Last thing is, I gotta say, I LOVE the ost <3

Because it's out of order in many ways lmao. But I kinda enjoyed it. It's like a guilty pleasure. That said, now I'm even waiting for the second season
This is definitely NOT your typical sci-fi. Watching this series is like your mind is getting raped. Seriously, I've been shouting and cursing a lot the whole time watching. But smh I just kept on watching till the end because what the hell is wrong with the whole story or me.
Anyway, I'm glad that I didn't drop because as much as I don't like it and as much as it's so friggin irritating, it's kinda engrossing. The best thing is you can't make a guess what's going to happen next most of the times. And I gotta say I liked the last episode though it made me cry a bit.
Some people say, they like the first half but not the later part. But for me I think the second half gets better; it's more purposeful. And the characters development in the later is better too, especially i like the main character in the second half.
The first time I'd watched it, I didn't finish. And I just watched again and finished for the obvious reason, the looks. I've never seen a bl with this amount of handsome guys. Everyone is almost equally handsome. That's it, the stories are just so-so.

Exactly!! It's not just fit under bl category. I grow tired of some typical bl out there, they're cutesy and bubbly but weak stories or acting, and if they aren't trying to be funny, they become forcefully dramatic. However, I can watch 1000 stars many times. The show highlights meaningful stuff in life and it's naturally done, which is one of the best thing about it. Overall, it's a BEAUTIFUL mini drama.
I didn't expect a bl to be this emotional and fun at the same time, and I have watched a handful of bl. This is even more heartbreaking than some heartbreaking K-drama, in a good way. Enough to say I fell in love with it even though I'm not a fan of melodrama.
At first, when I saw Tian in a gambling house I thought, for a second, is he gonna be a trash character sometimes you see in bl? But no, he's become my favorite. He's so affectionate and composed, yet spoiled and headstrong. He has potential and prolific ideas. And I just don't think it's because of Torfun's heart and also because he has experienced near death situation, I think he's originally pure hearted. He's not one of the very good looking lead you're looking for but I fell for him more and more as the series gets deeper. I think he's one of my very few favorite bl leads of all time.
One of the best is soundtracks, and I'm not even soundtrack fanatic. The production overall is well done. I could say it's a perfection not just as a bl, anyone could enjoy it as a mini series.

I think it's like a mutual thing for many bl. That's why I kinda don't enjoy them as much. For an example, this one here has got potential backbone story but it should be a movie length, cutting unnecessary scenes. In stead, they actually didn't put in much especially the final episodes, they're just there not doing much. But the actings are pretty decent tho considering it's not even a highly budget web drama. I mean, I even stopped watching Thai bl because of bad acting. I'm not saying all, but it's just still... I just think the reason why many choose movies / series over reading is because of the acting, not just the story
I'm a bit fed up with Wang Po Te. I'd hoped Jia Han to find a better guy, it seems he didn't though =[ Anyway, the way they portray the story is beautiful. I've actually been waiting for this movie after I finished Red Balloon, a few year ago maybe. And I thought it was going to be something like a sequel tbh. I liked Red Balloon a lot
