My thought exactly. I was afraid to say it first tho. Some may roast me for being racist or something. Anyway,…
Believe it or not, I grew up with C-dramas, like The Journey to the West and more, most of them are really old.
There are some good memories of them still left in me. I may enjoy them for the sake of the old days. But the present ones, compare to K dramas / J dramas / T dramas, are unnecessarily dragging and tedious.
That's said and, I'm not known for patience as well -_- When i find something irritating at the early episodes, I can't help but think it's such a waste of time and dropped.
My thought exactly. I was afraid to say it first tho. Some may roast me for being racist or something. Anyway, i thought it was only me, I almost never finish a C drama. So, i just never tried watching them in the first place. But since there's a k drama star, i came to check the reviews. It's best not to watch.
I am actually one of the people who enjoys this show more than Reply 1988. I actually dropped 1988 since I found…
Glad i found this comment. I was a huge fan of Reply 1997. But when this came out, i saved for later because somehow i wanted the lingering feelings of the first one with me still (not sure if that makes sense).
And then, the thrid sequel came out and received better reviews. I was confused whether i should watch this first or that. In the end, i rain checked both.
Anyway, the other day i started to watch Reply 1988 after all and I didn't like at all. So, i dropped. Now i was wandering how this is going to be.
She looks exactly like when she is young, she might hv done something but it’s not obvious tho I can’t tell
My thought, exactly. Besides, child actors and actresses barely need face jobs. Basically, they get casted in the young age mostly because of their faces, and acting of course. The casting agents, they are like giving out their name cards to anyone with potential looks and talents. It's very common in Korea. That happens a lot to kids and teenagers. I know by facts since I'd lived in Korea.
It's been long since I've watched a good thriller drama series. I've been waiting for something good like this after Signal. Although for me Signal is the best among the same genre, this took me a different thrilling ride.
It's more of an action driven thriller series rather than drama tho. More so reason not to get bored. And there's basically no romance tension between leads (although I'm shipping them like hell).
One thing I noticed in the series is script writers here trying hard to break the norm and I think they done well. I mean, in the old drama days, usually when a higher official say the lower ranks to stop the operation, they were like helpess kids. But not these two, they're like unstoppable which I love about them.
No doubt, the writers made the good guys very likeable and the evils despicable. And it's also brave to put a religious leader as an evil character. Considering Korean people are conservative, that's somewhat audacious.
And the ending is not messy at all. Btw, somehow I always knew the Eraser is a woman, just didn't know who exactly. I even doubted Jin Jae Gyu's step daughter lol.
I don’t understand why ppl are hating on her acting cuz she portrays her role really well for me, I think it…
I think, she's one of those actresses who put extra effort in her roles and career, someone who has true passion in acting. It's sad that those kinds of actresses get more hate than some who gets lucky or has connections, ones who get offered blockbuster roles :/
By staying in the same lane as the BL dramas that usually comes out of China, you mean them putting a female lead…
They're doing conversion therapy to every great homosexual books and stories. I actually stopped watching after several of the other somewhere-between-bl-and-bromance series.
I get it they're communists but can they really control everything?? But if either two boys or two girls can't be seem kissing, then neither a girl and a guy can be as well. It's only fair that way!
And just for the sake, the synopsis should say : NO ONE'S GAY IN CHINA!!
Sorry if this is not related to this page but I am here spreading love for My Engineer that is probably the most…
IKR, that show is totally underrated. Everyone is soo likeable, the actings are great and the stories are interesting as well. I say it's on my top BL list
I just couldn't wait for this one to come out (no pun intended). Srsly, i need a fresh bl with characters that don't belong to gay faculty... sorry, i meant engineering faculty.

It's such a nuisance I even forget crucial parts in everything I watch. Does that happen a lot to other people too, I wonder.
