I'm not gonna lie, I kinda wished the drama would focus more on the revenge cuz I'm invested so much more in Ga Seon Yeong's evil plans and counterattacks.
I wish I had lost the memory of this series so I could rewatch it again. I was on edge throughout the whole 8 eps. Nine Puzzle and Queen Mantis are my faves this year for sure.
Wow I'm speechless. I've watched Perfume, Beyond Evil, Blind and Mouse, but I really can't predict Mantis at all. Did she do it or did she not? Finally, a series that got me on edge after a while.
I don't have the heart to watch ep 9 today and might as well wait for the final ep. I swear I've liked this drama from the beginning despite the low rating, but I had higher expectations, tbh. There's no way they call it 'love' whereas they just pack everything in one final ep.
When Dongjin said that he turned into a mess just for a chance to talk to her, the pain in his eyes was so real. Despite the very slow pace, their acting and the variables were the things that kept me on edge. I could feel his frustration throughout the episodes, and her portrayal of a tragic beauty was commendable.
idk why the ratings are low, I think this is an ok watch, a typical romcom kdrama or maybe I already have enough drama at work that I found the first ep enjoyable lol
Some of the viewers gotta pull themselves together or use their circumstantial observation at the very least. How do you expect her to be a justice-fighter OP character in a snap of a finger? She's a temp, and, let alone having powerful connections, they only run a family restaurant. Only a blockhead would jump into a pit without any plans. Give it a rest. That's what character development does.
For context, I'm an avid kdrama watcher and my fav genre is crime/thriller, so the premise really hooked me.
I've seen lots of positive reviews about TFF and I'll make sure to check it out since it's got the same actor!
