That also makes sense. I'm also suspecting SJ wanted to tell him what we see in the preview for ep34. Doing everything they can to sow discord between THH and DFYC because they need him also so they can go back in time.

I was hoping to see that scene you mentioned in today's episodes but it wasn't. Hoping it wasn't cut front he whole drama. We only have 4 EPS left and there's too much to settle still.

And she knew that the black fox had control of elder but then again, she doesn't need to care for humans or Yiqi Alliance like DFYC need to so to her, it would've been fine to let him continue killing before they find a solution.

EDIT: I rewatched it. It looks like a grey feathered flower from the grief tree. I'm thinking it has something to do with THH hatred for DFYC killing elder. Since DFYC gave half of his heart to THH, this could be the side effect of her hating him.
