God i hate ius acting! Couldnt they have picked someoone better?
Yes, they do this one close up of her all the time that makes her look so.... dumb. She definitely does not compare to her counterpart, Lee Joon Gi, who is fabulous in this role.
All lot of people are hating on IU's acting and if you see the amount of upvotes on those hate comments, its like…
I have nothing against her personally, but she seems to only have one expression they always do a close-up of, and it makes her look so clueless. I think it's more overuse this close-up, she doesn't seem dynamic.
My stomach hurts. After the last scene of episode nine I feel queasy & confused and sad even. Now I'm depressed…
Personally, I would like to see Hae Soo pull herself together; they live in superstitious times, and her behavior is going to accelerate mistrust, which has already been planted in Wook. Originally, after the rain ceremony, Wook stood up for his brother and said, "as for So, why shouldn't he receive the king's trust and confidence?" Now, her wild-eyed ramblings are going to create more mistrust.
which is fine, since it's action, not much dialog at first, you'll get it.
The setting is fabulous, and I just have to say: All hail Ji Chang Wook, the new messiah of this genre.
