Really like this drama, but seriously can't stand her mom.
Yeah, me either. I thought about her character a lot. I think her mom was to show how not doing anything is worse than trying and failing. Plus the mom was smart, remember all those quiz questions she could answer, but her inability to get up and join the world was a good example for Yui - she could end up that way, if not for Kei's influence.
I thought I could see this through to the end, but it's so close and yet so far. I lost interest and can't seem to get it back. 50 episodes is 10 too many.
It was alright, gets better near the end, and of course, KimuTaku is worth watching in anything.
I didn't rate it very high because there is no real character growth for the female lead, the chemistry is alright, she just stays so passive it's annoying.
