We originally planned on making a fan guide, but K-pop articles aren't allowed, so we had to make some changes.
The rule was quite simply made before tv shows were added to MDL, and we didn't feel like it should be changed. :) We're taking opinions into consideration, of course, but at the moment we're not about to change this. (We as in the editors.) - Articles about tv shows are allowed, which is why this article was published. I'm only talking about Ultra Fan Guides, which cannot be written about people without acting credits in movies or dramas.

We don't count tv shows, only dramas and movies.

Once a member of a Kpop group/a singer has enough acting credits, they are considered an actor and can have fan guides written about them. None of the BTS members have enough acting credits for this. Members of other groups (from what I know, EXO's D.O. or SF9's Rowoon, for example - I don't know that much about Kpop sorry :D) qualify.

IU is considered an actress! We don't allow our traditional fan guides about Kpop artists/groups, just articles highlighting their appearances in shows/movies and soundtracks. :)

I wanted to see how far back the comments go and I can’t believe this website existed 10 years ago, I was 7…
I don't watch tooo many dramas these days but I do have some recent ones on my list. The production quality has improved significantly which is a point for newer dramas. There are also less clichés in dramas nowadays which were very common 10 years+ ago. :D And finally, there's just a lot more variety these days since dramas, especially Kdramas, have become so popular. So I'd say you joined at a good time but if you decide to watch some older dramas, you'll find great ones, too!

I heard about that website recently. Too bad cos didn't they provide English translation/sub?
I also found MDL through AC/DC! When we heard about the legal threats, everyone quickly came over to MDL to have a place where we could save our reviews and stuff. Does NOT feel like almost 10 years ago lol.

Thanks for the article! I started watching The Lost Tomb and may just give it another chance to see if it picks up pace at some point. So much content I could watch if I end up liking it... :P

I can't believe they just... forgot about Zhao Zhen by the end of the drama. Such a huge introduction and then he just gets zero closure. :o I would watch his spin-off, haha.

I can't believe Ashida Mana is 15. Really watched her grow up, huh. She will always and forever get my vote on any "favorite child actors" lists. <3
