It's a long 52 episode drama, and somebody has review it just by the two episodes airing like it's a…
I know how you feel, @DonYu, and I already felt like that in many dramas, but in long dramas (mainly chinese) they always start well the first 10~15 eps, it's addicting BUT then in the second half or last 5 eps they just screw up everything...
I had so much traumas because of that LOL
I love so many dramas, but this one... I saw one episode, I really liked the actors but it's so boring and slow. I pushed until episode 4 and then I dropped.
I like romance as "Boss and me". This was my first and only taiwanese drama. Are they all like this?
Never watched any chinese historical drama. I am not sure if I should give it try. So tell me guys, Does it have…
Actually Nirvana in Fire is one of a kind! I saw other chinese dramas, but this one is different. Beautiful cinematography and the story focus on political strategies. There is platonic romance between Hu Ge's character with Liu Tao's, but we all ship him with Wang Kai lol
It's a beautiful story about brotherhood and justice. You will need to watch a few chapters to understand the story because they simply throw you into the thing without introductions.
There are punctual action scenes and a lot of dialogues, but there are no filler episodes. The more you watch, the more you will understand and like it.
At first I wans't very impressed but this drama is not overhyped! After 10 episodes, I coundn't stop! The ending is excellent and satisfying.
Also, I've never seen so many brilliant women in one drama! Although they're supporting characters, behind each important man, there is a smart woman! They don't fight simply for jealousy of other women like in so many palace dramas.
I'm sorry for the long answer, but this drama is among the best! You just need patience and time to fall in love with this ;D
I start now with episode 1. From what I read in your comments it's quite dissatisfying on the lead couple.…
The main couple is not bad and we ship the "could-be-second-couple". But the most interesting thing in this story is the brothers' love for each other and how fate can be cruel. I read the novel and I still want to watch the drama until the end. It's worth it!
Interesting for those who want to know more about Beijing Opera and some history of China.
I had so much traumas because of that LOL
I wanna see more of Jin Dong!
