Yes it's a sleeve but the reason he wears is different in the drama. In the Manwha he wears it cause of burn scars.…
That sounds like a much better reason to wear one. It seemed like they were in a hurry to reassure the audience that it's actually not a real tattoo here doing it in the very first episode.
Is the tattoo a sleeve in the manhwa as well? I feel like they should have leaned into it being real instead of caring about Korean attitudes about tattoos.
Would be very interesting if Kim Seon-ho's character is neurodivergent and that's the roadblock in their communication. Could also explore how someone neurodivergent navigates interpretation which is a lot more complex than a simple translation of the spoken word. A simple plot about him being the link between the FL and SML would just be torture. Of which people got enough and more in Start Up I'm led to believe.
The Viki version doesn't seem to have the internal monologue/narration by the characters. It's available on kissasian (which seems to be the TVING version), but those bits aren't subbed.
I think Song Joong Ki's character originally had no blood ties with the family- they killed him and as fate would…
His parents are supposed to be really good people, who have distanced themselves from the rest of the family. I think the revenge involves him taking over the conglomerate from his extended family.
