Good performances from the cast. The action was too sparse in the beginning and too drawn out in the end. The way the final Mexican standoff was shot made it look comical. The action never really delivers a punch except for the first sequence. Plot was very simplistic and the South Korean propaganda was sloppy and obvious.
Pretty obvious that the opposite of what Su-jin said happened. In the first episode when Chan runs to the lab he has a split lip. Much more likely that Hyeok-chan punched him for confronting him about the cheating with Su-jin.
They are going to give him amnesia aren't they? Also some k-dramas have incredibly romantic shots (handholding scene in Something in the Rain is the gold standard for me) and my favourite here is when she discreetly takes his measurement while hugging him.
This is such a chill, sweet show. I want the best for all three sisters. I was skeptical about the youngest couple, but the guy seems like a kind sweetheart so I'm rooting for them as well. It's interesting that the oldest and youngest are both maladjusted in some way (Hadam needs to plan everything out obsessively and seems to be searching for a specific scent, perhaps related to her parents?). Curious to see if the middle sister has her own mechanisms to cope with their loss.
I thought her comfort cave would be some closet but it looks like a normal, cozy room lol. The AI images are really taking me out every time. I think even the capybara he pulled up on his phone was AI. Shame that it's in a show in which both the leads are artists.
Okay here's my theory. Her BF died in the explosion, inside the lab. We see Chan receive calls/texts/video messages, but never see him respond. He seems to be impersonating someone, his roommate perhaps, who is the BF. So when he receives her message saying she's going to be there soon, he runs to the lab to tell the BF and gets caught in the explosion. This explains why she doesn't know him at all by sight or name. Both of them losing their memories would be too much.
I really dislike people who start dating and immediately start thinking they can fix their partner's dysfunctional family. Like dude has been raising his nephew since he was a baby, maybe he knows his sister more than you? Just listen and take their side?
Also I wanted a confession scene where they explicitly say 'love' rather than 'like' and we only got that from him when she was in a coma the second time. Was surprised when it's literally in the title and they didn't have a scene where they professed their love for each other. I mean it's obvious that they do, but still kinda weird?
They should have leaned into the psychological aspect and made a thriller/romance where the alter ego wants to hurt him while the main personality loves him. Once that comes into play here, the drama loses steam imo. All of it makes sense characterization wise, but I wanted a romcom throughout. Also I dunno why people are saying there was a last minute break up? She was playing with what he said about them eventually breaking up to ease her anxiety about everyone leaving her. She's saying she'll break up now and come 'threaten' him back into the relationship to mean that she's confident that he's going to be there when she gets back. That anxiety is behind her.

It's not her, it's her alter ego. It's a good show and worth watching. I dislike love triangles and it's not bad at all because from the beginning she makes it so clear that she's smitten with the ML.

He's just very dense. He thought she was being serious when she said that she did everything to shake him up. He's like really bad at reading her which is so stupid because she's like an open book even when she's saying the opposite of what she's feeling. It would have made a lot more sense if he was neurodivergent in some way. I also think some of it is lost in translation and the subtitles aren't that good.
The Hong sisters will always find some convoluted way to get the FL to kiss the SML. Here, it's because of her alter ego. In AoS it was because the magic necessitated that she kiss the SML to put his soul back into the body.
Just finished episode 6 and the ML has me thoroughly confused. I’m not feeling his character at all.
I think the show is doing a poor job of saying that he was in love with the idea of this person he met on vacation and since then he has played it safe so as not to disturb the peace in his life; he's been helping his brother and her with their arguments because if they break up that would mean he would have to do something with his feelings. But now that they've broken up, he is already in love with someone else. He realizes he's being cowardly and says as much to Cha Mu-hee, "I don't want you to see me as a pathetic person."
