I love the show, but it seemed like a huge gap in some kind of development between episodes 6 and 7. Like, they were hinting at MAYBE admitting their feelings towards each other towards the end of episode 6, but in episode 7, it jumped right to “You look so handsome”, and “You smell good”, the outright protectiveness of Ace to the bullies if they try anything again with Sky, and all the sexual tension-laden dough kneading and so forth. I don’t know... the boys definitely have good chemistry, but their interpersonal development seems to have jumped a big step...

ANYWAY, I am SUPER excited for episode 8. It looks like some realness is going to go down and I’m ready for it.

I’ve watched all the episodes so far, but does anyone know why episode 1 was taken down/deleted? I assume there was probably some copyright issue or other similar claim, but I can’t remember anything specifically from back then. Just curious for any future viewers since they can only watch from episode 2 onward.

A Fiat and JJ ship would be awesome, but it’s not in the stars :( They are both so freaking adorable.

I didn’t find anything groundbreaking in this first episode, but I really enjoyed JJ’s acting here. He was really funny and he draws you in. His character Waan seems like he will be the comedic relief/voice of reason for this series.

There wasn’t a whole lot of background information on the characters (besides Pai studying in England and having a rich family), which is kind of surprising for a first episode.

But I’m going to keep going because I enjoyed the episode and I’ve been interested since the trailer and before.

I just came to say that my babies are getting so grown up! I’ve been waiting for a more “mature” role (or serious, if that’s how you look at it) for Phuwin. He has pulled me in with his sweetness since his “My Tee” days, and I liked him in “My Bubble Tea”, but I wanted to see something different. And I’m pleasantly surprised. He is playing his role of Third very well. I’m excited to see where this is going.

Also, Chimon and Nanon have matured so much, also. I feel their improvements have come from maturing.

The show has a good pull so far, and I’m ready for it! With more Jack and Joe, I’m already happy lol

I agree. I don’t know why, but I’m suspicious of Korn. But even if it’s not him, the Gifted group seems almost too harmonious, so betrayal seems like a good wrench to be thrown in the mix. We shall see...

So true, spot on! I did like that he didn’t seem confused at the gym when that guy’s crotch was practically on his face, but later on during his conversation with Kim, he seemed confused. Maybe it was just his fear of being honest with her about his strictly platonic feelings for her and not wanting to lose her as his best friend. We shall see. In any event, the fact that I’ve put this much thought into the show means I’ve connected with it, which is a good thing. Fingers crossed that the momentum continues!

I didn’t realize I was literally holding my breath for most of the scenes in the finale. OMG, I am blown away. It’s definitely not one of my first BLs (I’ve seen more of them than I can actually remember), but it’s one of my first Filipino series. I really have to say how floored I am. This has been one of the best things I’ve watched all year, maybe ever. They took the obstacles that this pandemic has thrown everyone’s way and just smashed them to pieces. The build-up of Gav and Cai’s relationship was so smooth yet intense! In the last half of the season finale, I could feel the love between the two boys radiating like crazy. I never thought I would feel this way about a show that had such limited face-to-face interaction, but here I am.

Until now, HIStory3: Trapped has been my hands-down favorite BL. Now it has company at the top, which is hilarious because these two series are as different as night and day.

I’m nervous yet excited for Season 2. Until then, I’ll probably squeeze in a rewatch of this between my other 100 series and Pearl Next Door when it finally happens.

I get what you’re saying, and I’ve seen it said here in the comment section before. I do appreciate the various depictions of queer people, but I do find the problematic behavior annoying. I just keep in mind that the frustrating and harassing behavior can be seen as realistic, also, since it does happen in real life. I rather enjoy seeing all the different types of queer people being portrayed, but the behavior you’re talking about- I don’t like it either.

Also, I don’t know why I was so surprised by Ace at the gym and his interaction with that guy who was obviously into him. The show here made it seem like his sexuality is open and obvious, but at other times, it seems like he’s still questioning or that maybe people have tried to “out” him or something in the past. I don’t know. We’ll see.

You are right. Subtle perhaps isn’t the word I was looking for. Hmmm, maybe teeming under three surface and starting to bubble over? I was definitely feeling this episode, too. I think Ace’s interaction with Sky’s family made their connection feel more intimate.

In any event, I am really enjoying where this is going.

It just keeps getting better and better. The chemistry between Ace and Sky is very subtle, but it’s there and it’s getting stronger. I am loving this series.

MaxTul’s kissing is on another level because their friendship is so close. They really do love each other, even if it’s only friendship. “Manner of Death” needs to come on!

Gunsmile... he is so adorable when he smiles, but when he has a serious face- O...M...G is he so mmmm! He is the real deal. In “3 Will Be Free”, I almost couldn’t handle how sexy he was.

I think he brushed shoulders with Earn, not Pear. I don’t know if she is single, though, because Sarawat said she had a boyfriend/girlfriend (fann) in S1. OhmFong would have been too cute, though ;)

I need help... I am so taken with this gorgeous human being <3 He taps into his emotions so well in his acting roles and his eyes are so expressive and beautiful. I need more everything of him in my life!

I felt like today’s episode (10) was finally an episode that showcased some real emotion and some depth of acting skill. I am a little disappointed, though, because I don’t want episodes with major plot twists, revelations, or extreme emotional ups and downs to be the only ones that showcase these things.

But... I really enjoyed Peak’s (Man) acting here. He portrayed his internal conflict and emotional crumbling very well. I hope the series will keep up this pull for the last three episodes.
