Title My Fake Wife
well i found this on JK entertainment channel's "about" tab"DescriptionAll the videos uploaded not from any drama…
I believe JK entertainment Youtube channel is simply re-uploading the dramas. They're "creators" because they seem to have placed their own music over the dramas they uploaded and/or edit the dramas themselves.

This drama is officially uploaded on 快手 (Kuaishou).

UGH... China has been butchering their dramas recently.
Compared to Korea, China takes like 100x longer to release a drama because it goes through censorship checks, etc. The average wait for a drama to be released after it has completed filming is a year, so there's no such thing as "fast release" for c-dramas lols. When editing is choppy, it's most likely because scenes got cut or it's low budget. If it's the audio, MangoTV is known to remove audio/put over random audio if you're watching from YouTube.

Title Uncle Cool Spoiler
Does anybody know if they plan to make a second season? The ending is obviously a cliffhanger.
No news of a second season yet. The donghua is going to be released soon though, and the female lead was promoting for it. Just for the record, this drama was filmed around Oct last year and only aired now, so... Unless they filmed both seasons together (which they sometimes do for mini dramas), it's going to be a long wait.

Title Falling into Your Smile Spoiler
For those who still haven't watched some E-Sports dramas or struggling to understand what actually it is,E-Sports…
To add on-

1. Love O2O does not fall under e-sports. It is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) where there's no restrictions to the number of people that can play together and they usually explore maps and defeat monsters together. Famous games that fall under this category include Final Fantasy and Guild Wars.

2. The games in Love Scenery and Cross Fire falls under FPS (First Person Shooter), where players shoot at other players to win. Games under this category actually do have national/world championships (like in Cross Fire). Famous games in this category include PUBG, Overwatch and Call of Duty. Not a FPS player myself so I'm not sure which games are most played in the e-sports circle. The novels that Go Go Squid and DT. Appledog's Time were adapted from were originally based on FPS games.

3. The games in The King's Avatar, Gank Your Heart and Falling Into Your Smile falls under Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). It is usually a 5v5 game, with each player having a specific role, and their main objective is usually to bring down the enemy's turret. League of Legends (LOL) and DOTA is huge and they have yearly championships. In the recent years, there are also mobile MOBA games that are very popular, such as Mobile Legends and Honour of Kings (which will be featured in the upcoming Yang Yang/Dilireba's You're My Glory). Mobile Legends was an event at the SEA Games (South East Asian Games) as part of the e-sports lineup.

4. Go Go Squid features Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions. This is a security competition, and you have to have a good knowledge of Computer Science to take part in it. There are many types of CTF competitions, but the main objective is usually to "hack" and get the information you need (usually secret codes) to win. It does not fall under e-sports, though I suppose people can call it "gaming".

5. DT. Appledog's Time features a Robotics competition. You will need Computer Science and Engineering knowledge to build your own robot (that can withstand others' attacks) and programme your robot to "fight". Usually, the main objective of this competition is to be the last man (robot) standing. It does not fall under e-sports.

This user (and the comments under the user) gives more information about the game played in this drama (and some interesting fact): https://kisskh.at/49241-falling-into-your-smile#comment-6536331

Hmmm...it would be better to write this comment in the comments sections of the dramas because these dramas indeed…
No, you're misunderstanding me. I am not disappointed that the dramas did not follow the novels and have them play an FPS game like the novel did. I am saying that CTF and robotics competitions are not to be categorised under e-sports. When you say e-sports, won't the first thing that comes to your mind be games like League of Legends? Anyways, let's agree to disagree. Maybe I'm overthinking this; I need breakfast. XD Have a good day (or night)!

This is obviously not your fault, and I am in no way criticising you; just airing my complaints - but as a Computer Science student and a gamer, it annoys me to no end that Go Go Squid and Dt. Appledog's Time are categorised as "gaming". The novels that these two dramas are adapted from are set in the e-sports industry, but China censorship had caused the dramas to be changed to CTF competitions (a computer security competition) for Go Go Squid and robotics competitions for Dt. Appledog's Time. These competitions are definitely not "gaming" and it pains me that everyone is wrongly assuming that, though the misrepresentation in Go Go Squid did also contribute to that wrong assumption (but I let that slide, because rumour has it that they were forced to change it at the last minute if they want a TV airtime). But they filmed Dt. Appledog's Time with robotics in mind and that's clearly reflected in the drama, yet the tags for that drama here are just not it.

That aside - your list is really comprehensive and is really useful for those new to Chinese dramas! I really like how you put the number of episodes and the length of each episode for each drama. Perhaps you can think of doing a list of underrated Chinese dramas next time so that those who have exhausted almost all their options can have something new to watch haha. Thank you for the article!

No matter how much i try.. i can not never enjoy Chinese drama. They always lack something. Sometime the story…
I guess there can only be two reasons for you not enjoying Chinese dramas - (1) the dramas you've chosen are just really bad, or (2) you're not used to Chinese dramas. I've seen many complain about Taiwanese / Japanese dramas when they first get into them, and compare them to other countries' dramas that they usually watch. Some get over it when they've finally stopped the comparisons, but there are some that just cannot get into them even if they genuinely try their best to. Hopefully you'll be able to find some Chinese dramas on this list that might suit your liking and change your opinion of Chinese dramas. As an avid Chinese drama watcher, I wish you all the best! :D However, the high ratings of many dramas on this list may not reflect how good the drama actually may be (it just shows how popular the drama is), so if you're a picky watcher, do read through the comments to know what you're getting into beforehand!

Update on the airing schedule - I got confused because they aired from Wednesday - Friday on the first week of airing. Two episodes are released from Monday - Wednesday from the second week onwards, but there are on-demand episodes to be released starting from next week, that have to be paid for even if you're a VIP user so the drama will be "completed" much faster for those who pay. Sorry about the wrong information before!

i don't understand if it started airing on 31st march how come there are already 18 episodes out? can someone…
@Julie is right; last week was the first week of airing so there was a total of 8 episodes released on Wednesday night, and 2 episodes each on Thursday and Friday. From this week onwards, there will only be 2 episodes each from Monday - Wednesday. On-demand episodes can be purchased starting from next week, though the date of release and number of episodes vary each week. You can check the airing schedule that has already been posted here.

Can somebody acknowledge me about the days of week in which they air the epidodes officially
For Chinese viewers, two episodes are released each day from Monday - Friday. On the first day of airing, they released an additional 6 episodes (i.e. 8 episodes in total on one night) for VIP users. I think the official channel on YouTube releases only on Monday - Wednesday though (without the extra episodes), and that's the one with subs. Hence, why english subs are so "slow". Though I've heard that Viki has picked up this drama and is releasing subs faster than the official YouTube channel.

But you can watch it in IQiyi for free. And I think IQiyi is a legal distributor?
I think OP is referring to those wanting to watch the VIP episodes. You can watch on iQiyi for free but the episodes are released much slower, unless you pay for VIP. iQiyi is also blocked in some countries, though Croton Official YouTube is also uploading the episodes (but at a much slower rate than iQiyi/Viki, I believe).

Is there any particular explanation why emo is not here? I just watch 2 episode by the way, but very curious as…
It could be because they couldn't get the original actor to reprise the role. Either that, or they're following the novels - Demo hardly appeared in the first two novels that this spinoff is based on.

When Wai Bai pushed Ai Qing in the car when he thought she wanted to go back with her ex-boyfiend. I expected…
I'm a huge Mo Bao Fei Bao fan (author of the original novels) and I must clarify - Wu Bai is the perfect boyfriend in the novels. Solo had no lingering feelings for Ai Qing in the novels (they just needed a closure because they broke up so abruptly and on such a bad note) and Wu Bai, though jealous of Solo at times, was never to the extent in the drama. It was more of a pouty kind of jealous.

Even taking this drama on its own merits and not trying to link it to GGS, it's boring AF. So, so boring. I'm…
Wait - I'm genuinely confused, are people saying that this drama is closer to the novels than GGS actually is? Because I dropped this drama for the very fact that this spinoff was nothing like the novel that I love so much. GGS is actually the one that is closer to the novels; the screenwriter in GGS is even the author of the novel. GGS didn't have the best writing, but as a huge fan of the novels, GGS definitely lived up to expectations (and I love Yang Zi's Tong Nian so, so much).

Also, I feel like I should clear up a misconception - the timeline actually matches up in both dramas. But this spinoff was just written so, so badly that it didn't seem that way. Add in the fact that they changed the stories of some important characters just for the sake of it (e.g. like you've mentioned, Solo) and changed some of the scenes that were previously also in GGS (e.g. Mi Shaofei leaving the team + the argument after). All these got on my nerves but I still sat through half of the drama because I thought the main couple would be as cute as they looked like in the trailers, but I dropped it when I realised that the trailers were a lie and I feel nothing for the main couple.

(Side note: robotics in China is heavily taken over by the younger generations now. You can check out some of the Chinese variety shows about robotics. :) They really be promoting robotics in China now, and training those talented ones since young. But you made a valid point - you can still do robotics even when you're old. The novels are actually based on e-games, and like professional athletes, when you're past a certain age, you just can't compare to the younger ones anymore, no matter how good your skills are.)

Its a great conclusion to a great time travel story
It depends on how you see it. The main couple obviously couldn't end up together as they're from different time periods, but they (kind of) met again in 2020, and there was an open ending. Like the previous user said, I thought it was a great conclusion to the story.

Title Someday or One Day Spoiler
1. What exactly triggered the time travel? The song, the longing feeling, or that specific tape? and was the reason…
This is two months late, but I have a question about your answer to the second question - is it your interpretation that the destroyed walkman caused Huang Yu Xuan to be stuck in the blue house, or was it shown in the drama (and I missed something)? I've just completed the drama, and was quite confused as to why Huang Yu Xuan would suddenly be stuck in the blue house on her third time travel back. I had felt that she was Huang Yu Xuan on the same day she travelled back (when she hugged Li Zi Wei in his house), but she woke up being back to Chen Yun Ru the next day.

Thank you for your explanation to the other questions btw! It made me realise some things I never realised before! (:
