I didn’t hate this drama, but I didn’t love it either.

My biggest issue was the female lead, Mi Seon — I never really connected with her, and her chemistry and demeanor with the male lead and her family feels flat to me. Another issue is the overly dramatic obstacles that our Typhoon Family meet each episode, like it was a bit too much, imo.

On the positive side, Tae Pung’s mom is wonderful(LOVED her), and Jeong Cha-ran (the Hongshin Trading owner) absolutely stole the show for me . She’s such a bada$$ and honestly one of the highlights of the whole series.

Overall, it’s watchable and fine if you’re out of things to watch, but there are plenty of stronger, more engaging dramas out there.

I really enjoyed this drama. The romance between the male and female leads wasn’t always front and center—it stayed more in the background in the second half of the drama—but it worked because the rest of the story was genuinely engaging. It was refreshing to watch something where the romance didn’t have to carry the whole plot.

Finally, a new drama, even though I wish he would leave Channel 3. "The next project we’re preparing is…
just hoping they don't tease a Gulf Kao pairing just to reel in the shippers, but it's Channel 3 so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Finally, a new drama, even though I wish he would leave Channel 3.

"The next project we’re preparing is ‘Tawan Luang’. We have Gulf Kanawut starring alongside Kao Noppakao. So next year on Channel 3, we’ll have quite a few series where lead actors go head-to-head. And we also have Yaya in this one. It’s a story where everyone will be curious to see who ends up paired with whom. It’s definitely an interesting project."

So Gulf, Kao, and YaYa??...interesting

Made it to episode 5, but I’m already bored. I was hoping for a fun, fresh story about two strangers meeting in a crazy, unexpected way, but nope, it’s the childhood connection trope again. I just can’t get excited about that anymore. On top of it, I’m not feeling any chemistry between the leads, so there’s nothing keeping me invested. 🤷‍♀️ I'll put the drama on hold and revisit it someday.

I get why some people had issues with it, but honestly, this drama still really worked for me. The found family aspect is heartfelt, the friends(one-sided love)-to-lovers arc is a true authentic slowburn, and the friendships at the end of the drama feel deep and lasting. If you’re hesitating, I’d say give it a try—you might end up loving the quiet emotional payoff as much as I did.

I just finished the first ep of My Youth and stopped by to read more about ml actor. Can't believe he is 40. 🫨 Thought he was in his 20s lol.

Y'all this drama is so good. I know that because I did not want it to end, lol. It was too short!

I probably will now watch a few historical cdramas becuase I know no current modern romance drama is going to top this one for me at the moment.

I'm in the minority, but I dropped this drama at ep 8 and probably FF thru most of those 8 eps. I just felt really disconnected from this drama. It's too bad because I like WC as an actor, but just wasn't feeling it at all.🤷🏼‍♀️
On My Troublesome Star Sep 30, 2025
lol just another drama with a lower rating and complaints that I really enjoyed . It's a throwback to old school kdramas with a lot of fun moments that made me laugh. Kind of refreshing, imo, considering how I've been utterly bored with the majority of 2025 kdramas. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really enjoyed this drama, but I’m still processing that ending. Strangely, I’m kinda, sorta actually okay with it, even though I usually hate loose endings that aren’t neatly tied up.

The male lead’s final words could be read as a setup for a second season, but even if that never happens, the still montage at the end gave me enough closure. To me, it suggests they might end up together, and if not, since the story, even at the very end, kept emphasizing the age gap and boss-employee issues, I still like that both characters are finally open to love again.

Whether or not the main leads have a future together, I loved their journey and how it wrapped up.

So glad I didn't watch this. I can't stand baiting with romance.
I’m not a fan of baiting either, but the main couple’s moments together have been top tier. Watching their relationship grow has been such a pleasure, no matter where it ultimately leads. I only wish more K-dramas gave this much care to building relationships. Even if they don’t end up officially together, or there’s no season two, I’ll still feel at peace with how their story concludes.

But I get it, if one is into shipping and a sure-thing romance for the main leads, then this drama might be a frustrating watch.

Also, I want to say that the second leads' romance is a done really well, so all is not lost on the romance front, imo.

The ex-wife 😠😠😠

The best thing she can do is take herself and her annoying -a$$ husband , move far, far away, and never come back. If there is a second season, I want her long gone. Good-bye, biatch.

This makes me salty. 😂 I hear this all the time from American showrunners -the couple was never meant to be…
And I don't blame them for being dissapointed. The handkerchief smelling, the marriage cosplay, and the glowy moonlit rooftop convos? Like, it's pure baiting just to keep viewers tuning in each week. Been there, done that before, lol.

Well, we still have two eps left, so let's see what happens, lol.

This makes me salty. 😂 I hear this all the time from American showrunners -the couple was never meant to be romantic, yet the showrunners do everything they can to reel in shippers, like having them cosplay a married couple with kids and go on family outings.

Sure, it works in a show with multiple seasons, but in a 12-episode show? That’s just baiting the audience, imo. They could have explored a mentor/mentee relationship in a million different ways, but nope—they went with the marriage-cosplay route. Lol.
On Love Me, Love My Voice Aug 30, 2025
Nothing dramatic or over the top happens in this drama, and that’s exactly what makes it so beautiful and appealing. Two stable, easy-going people meet, fall in love, date, and simply live their lives haappily together. That’s it. No unnecessary angst, no heavy baggage weighing down the story. I truly wish to see more romance dramas like this produced in the future.

I finished up till ep9 a few days ago and went on to watch other dramas lol. I'm just not feeling it, especially the chemistry between the two leads. I'm bummed because the director for this drama also directed Always Home and Our Secret, two dramas that I loved and rated highly. I gues I'll put it on hold for now.
