Another highly rated mdl drama that I didn't love, lol. It started out ok. I lost interest around ep 7. Also, the ending was rushed. Overall, it's an ok drama to binge.
Just don’t go in expecting a typical romance with lots of cute or swoony moments. This drama is more about the slow, realistic build-up between two people figuring themselves out. The ML is still carrying the weight of a tragedy from a decade ago while pushing forward in his career and falling for the FL. Meanwhile, the FL is dealing with her own personal struggles, especially with her mom, and trying to find her footing - professionally within the airline and emotionally with ML.
I didn’t think the 2nd ML’s interest in FL added much as the ML’s emotional baggage already created enough tension between he and the FL.
Still, it’s a well-paced drama that doesn’t need to be binged. Perfect if you like character-driven stories with a gradual emotional payoff.
What is up with barely-legal teen actresses being paired up with actors who are approaching 30, like in this drama and the drama, Rebirth? Are there no actresses in their twenties in China who are capable of being cast in these roles?
