Su Yu's Dad is a happy go lucky the kind of man who is not easily get upset over anything...and when he's angry, Aya know he's really really really pissed.

the very beginning of episode 1. She jumped from the balcony. The citizens want to scapegoat all their frustrations on the Empress and She sacrifice herself to let people blame her as "Evil Queen" as her adopted son deals with the chaos and reunites the country.
π That "Pee Color Pool" at the vacation house looks awfully familiar...someone who've seen "A Shoulder to Cry On" would know what I'm talking about.
I just adore the rental Dad... the dedication he gives above and beyond to his role as WuBi's father is unmatched...even WuBi's real Dad got confused for a hot minute π€£
What does 404CP mean? I know it's http return code when "server not found" or clueless person. Clueless couple??? What/who is "Upstairs" the are referring to in their texts?! I'm 404 π
πππQuestion1. Happy ending?2. Story?3. Chemistry?4. Kiss scene?
This is an unusual C-drama. First time being produced from fan-made biibili videos written into a fully realized drama. If you are looking for a cute idol CP drama, this isn't it. It would have ruined the entire story, if they have changed the way they ended (btw, the ending is in the first episode). The drama has its weakness due to limited budget but the acting (esp FL), script, directing make up for it.
This drama may not have beautiful leads doing kiss kiss trope trope boring stuff but the story makes up for what it lacks. The story has lots of layers into it and (still) unfolding little by little of the past events while balancing/making connections with present events. It deserves more than 8 honestly but too early to count the chicken since most K-Dramas tend to bite more than they can chew and f^ck up the ending ('Big Mouth' I'm talking to you) So far, I don't find it confusing at all.
It's a solid low-budget time-travel costume drama with twist and turns. I love the fact that he's traveling back and forth and not just stucked in the past like most C-dramas do. I am a fan of reverse time travel (β€Meet Me @ 1006 ) or good old timetraveling stories in general (if you can't tell by my profile GIF). Up to EP8, They did a great job at presenting cohesive story line (yet)...trust me, I'll be the first one to clock if there is an inconsistency.
Ok...I kinda...sorta....get my "Jeng-tasy" I imagined when I first saw their pilot trailer....but I still want more Jeng-tasy. That one shot where he hugged Pat from behind and said "This is my place" or "I own this place" in English didn't make it to the final cut. The second couple story line was poorly handled as if they didn't even bother to wrap it up. The finale doesn't feel like a finale.
Judging from the first 2 episodes, I'm not mad at all. I can see that they treated the production with care. They picked the right actors for their roles, esp the Dad. Our two leads are a little green but they have great on-screen chemistry. I'm looking forward to future episodes...bromance or not.
Saliva exchanged... There may or may not have been tongue action. I need confirmation ππ "it's alright. I don't want a birthday cake" (translation : he wants to eat the 'other' cake. Lol)
is it from the girl who time travels back in a high school girl's body OR the guy who time travels to the future,…
LOLLL I was just asking to f with people's minds...also, to draw attention of the newbies how brilliant the script is. It's one of those dramas you have to turn on your logical thinking brain to make sense. Literally, I had to pause and think when I was watching.
is it from the girl who time travels back in a high school girl's body OR the guy who time travels to the future,…
Also, it will be interesting to see Ahn Hyo Seop in high school uniform. Greg Hsu was almost 30 when he played the role but it was totally believable that he is a high-schooler.
Question for those who have watched the Original....who originally told the ramen noodle joke?
is it from the girl who time travels back in a high school girl's body OR the guy who time travels to the future, meets the the girl (who hasn't time traveled yet) and tell the joke???
So far, I don't find it confusing at all.
