I SO agree with you. It’s rough out here. I don’t even need like a genius FL I just need one who is ....not a caricature of a woman LOL ugh not just Asian dramas but this is prevalent throughout fiction.
Rise of phoenixes I’ve been a little ... idk... like I think I tried 1-2 eps but generally if the FL isn’t a MAJOR focus (as in the true protagonist or an equal one to ML) then I’m not rlly into it. And Rise of Phoenix I’ve heard mixed things on that front - that even though she’s a good character she’s often in the background and the romance is very subtle too.
I could never get into 10 miles but I LOVVVVEDDDFDDDDD omfg LOVED pillow book (both the novel and show)
