Title Itoshi Kimi e Spoiler
Well, I absolutely cannot understand Azumi's actions in the last few episodes - he loves her, she loves him, but…
Yes, I really felt it could have been a real masterpiece but for the dumb ex-fiance, they could have done without the dumb love triangle, all it did was tainted the drama a bit. Like you, I so loved the ending, especially when she lost the first baby, yes, that brought tears to my eyes seeing her holding their new baby. I think he coped pretty good knowing he was going to lose his eyesight, not sure I could have dealt with it so well.

Yes I so agree with you there, he should have gone to her, they sit down and discuss it together, I guess you might call that being selfish, I saw it as his love for her doing it, he didn't want to see her give up her life as she knew it, her dream, to take care of him. I don't think it was because he doubted her, I think it was just that he didn't want to see her giving up her life to take care of him instead. I absolutely think it broke his heart to do what he did. As to her quitting her job, I think it was a possibility of having to do so, although from what I sensed in the end, she at least quit that hospital to move to Nagasaki and work there as a doctor possibly. Where it showed him, her and the baby, that looked like his mother's place, so I'm sure she got a lot of help from his mother.

Another lovely yet underrated drama. Itoshi Kimi e reminded me a lot of 1 Liter of Tears. Apart from the storyline,…
I never cried nowhere's as much in this drama as I did in 1 Liter of Tears, I cried through every episode of that drama, this one, I think the first 4 episodes for sure, but I didn't find this one so heart wrenching and as sad as 1 Liters of Tears. Very heart warming and beautiful for sure though. And I don't think you could have gotten anybody better than Kanno Miho for the female part of this drama, her personality shone right through her acting, her compassion, her empathy, love for the kids, quite an amazing drama for sure, so glad I watched it.

Yeah, I gotta beg to differ with you on that point that it was selfish of him, he overheard that she would have to quit her job and that her life would become very narrow on account of him, I don't blame him for what he did, he did that out of love for her. It was cruel, yes, I do agree there, especially at the one point where she really needed him, but to say he was being selfish, that's going a little too far. I'm not a selfish person, and I would have done the same thing as him. The nonsense that I was in this drama was the dumb wench of an ex-fiance, now that was selfish and cruel, she was as shallow as they come in my books.

Yep, the ending really sucked, I was really disappointed in that the one herione sleeps with someone she doesn't love while loving someone else, to me that is very shallow and despicable. You don't do that, like come on now, wake up smell the coffee. Yeah, because of that I only give this a 1 and a low 1 at that. Very disappointed in what looked to be a great drama with a great ending. Too bad....

Moteki was great! I loved ep 6 where Hikari's character sings her guts out in the Karaoke bar. That was great.…
You really think she was broken? She wanted him and was going to use whatever she had in her power to get him no matter what, you don't use your body to get someone, that just cheapens you, makes you easy, and what did she do right after he rejected her, she hopped right into bed with yet another man, see, to me, that's just plain shallow and despicable. I could never ever do that, and I'm a guy, it's just plain common sense, and before anyone says this that it's only a drama, it happens in real life, I know, I've seen it happen. You see, I didn't see her as broken at all, she just wanted what she wanted and that was all there was to it...

This is the first time I seen Hinata Nanami act in a drama/movie, she did a splendid job, she's so adorable, made me think of my little girl. Too bad they can't stay that young and innocent, too bad they all grow up and change.

As to feeling bad for Rumiko, I don't one single bit, she knew he likes Miyuki, but she didn't care and threw herself at him. Just another shallow woman not only throwing herself away like that, but trying to steal him away from his goal, that's despicable, I never finished the movie, but according to what you said in your spoiler, he gets with Miyuki anyway, so yeah, Rumiko has everything she deserves for sleeping with him. From what I could see, she was just a conniving little B**ch that just selfishly tried to get what she wanted for herself. Just my most humble opinion. I have to laugh at people that are like that... Especially when the walls all crumble in around them, oh, that is so sweet to my eyes and ears... :)
On Love Strikes! Mar 4, 2014
First off, BETRAYAL by Miyuki, WHAT ON EARTH is she doing holding hands with Yukiyo and about to kiss him when she's with someone, just make my feelings against women even stronger, my how women are so shallow and despicable, right at the beginning of the movie too. Wow... So sad too because Nagasawa Masami is one of my top five fav's, just made me not like her so much anymore, very disappointed in her, well, already off my top five for sure... Even if it's just sleeping, you don't sleep with someone when you have a boyfriend. Women are just plain EVIL. I think SATAN, the devil is a woman, I'm convinced. Just as the movie said, women are pro's, pro's at lying and betrayal, they've absolutely got us men beat by a long shot... Wow... This movie is so DROPPED!!!

I couldn't get past the first episode unfortunately....
He rated it a 4 at his/her perspective of the drama, I've done that too, dropped and gave a very low rating after only one or two episodes, sometimes not even getting through the first episode. I personally think that's his/her privilege to do that. Personally I like to see any and all comments before I start to watch something, and I like to read comments of people who haven't finished the drama either. Shinjilll, you did no wrong in my books...

I've already finished episode 5, I'm finding this really stupid, really dumb, is it just me or is this really not going anymore but for some stupid lame love triangle? I just can't seem to get into this one. I've seen the American movie, Out of my League, and this isn't even close to being on the same page. Ready to throw in the towel and watch another... :S

I have but one question, why is I'm sorry or Please Forgive Me not in a woman's vocabulary? I mean really, of all the relationships I've been in, of which are only a few, not once did they ever say they were sorry, for anything. At the point of her FINALLY say it, I've only got, So Sad to say. I won't stop that though from giving this movie a low 10 though. A real shocker, through me for a real loop, yep, didn't see that one coming. Great story line and acting... :)
On My Sassy Girl Mar 2, 2014
The Japanese remake of this movie, Ryokiteki na Kanojo, was a much better of a drama/movie than this one was I felt. This one just lacked the budding romance, whereas Ryokiteki na Kanojo, you could see a real care building between the two heroines. This one was okay, but didn't even come close to Ryokiteki na Kanojo... And the violence, I know it is the main plot to the story, but just as men aren't to hit or slap women, likewise, it is even much more worse for a woman to slap or hit a man, for any reason but for self defense.

Even though it has been said this is similar to You've Got Mail, it is not a true love story like You've Got Mail was. The only similarity I saw between the two were only the emailing aspect of the storyline, so not similar at all. You've Got Mail was much more heartwarming than this drama was. Amane san really strengthens my belief in believing that women are very shallow, in that she could betray her love for someone and be willing to sleep with another. A true romance or true love story would not have such nonsense as this drama has by bringing in the Yoshida character, not one bit. Only the Japanese can cook up stories like this and get away with calling it a romance and having people like it...
