Ep 5+6 Thoughts (long hehe): Feel free to discuss :) - Just wondering whether Chairwoman's daughter (who lives…
I no longer think the Chair's dtr is in the US. I think its more likely the Chair made it up to cover the estrangement.
I am starting to believe the stalker pantyhose killer is different from who attacked Chair and the only thing connecting them is Dae Sung unless it is him. The coming attractions make it look like he snapped. Pretty sure it was a dream.
I'm happy Yul is alive, too. I'm anxious about the camera.
I will never call myself a grammar ho again. You did your research and thought out your article well, but your thinking is far too linear for my liking. Yes, there are some poorly translated titles, but I'm not sure you've picked the best examples. I agree with the comment regarding Boys Over Flowers. I've never been misled or confused. It's basically saying chose pretty boys over pretty flowers.
You also missed the mark on Military Prosecutor Doberman. Not only is it a play on the ML's name, but his dogged personality and tenacity. Plus, there is an actual doberman featured in many episodes. MPD is aptly named and not misleading in the slightest.
Accidental Innuendos cracked me up. It reminded me of an old site called Engrish, which was hilarious.
For me it has always been drama titles fom HK and mainland China that have been misleading or just odd. I'm not familiar with the ones you've mentioned. I'd really like to know why goddesses or young gifted womemvare called faries so often. The Handsome Siblings is a horrible title. I'd like to believe the actual titles are better.
For the past couple of years many manga and light novelist have taken titles that read like descriptions. Anime and manga readers give them nicknames. Some are more poplar than the actual titles, which makes you wonder if title translations are actually a problem.
I was very disappointed in the editing on the 2nd half of 596. They hadn't done nametag elimination in so long. I was excited. They spent too much time showing them chatting about blood types and on the pole thing..
