I feel the same way about Jerry Yan's Daoming Si! It's because he brought a lot of vulnerability to the role.…
The ML was written with issues to put it mildly. I think more than any other version Si had mental health problems. I remember it opening up some dialogues online. Honestly, I believe that's why Kamio Yoko put the violence, especially against women and bullying in her light novel. One can only hope it did so in Taiwan. Years later Jerry Yan bravely admitted his own mental health problem (I want to say bi-polar but not sure). It was headlines for like a day and then poof.
Not bad. It's Umizaru meets CSI and has a baby. Coincidentally, the first time I ever saw Abe Hiroshi and Ito Hideaki (Umizaru) was in Yasha. I'd love it if Ito made a cameo.
Well that ended fast. It felt like 15 minutes. My plan was to wait until next week so I'd have 2 episodes. I held out for 23hrs 24 minutes. * hangs head * I didn't remember the plan until the end credits.
I don't know why, but Bright's Thyme reminds me a lot of Jerry's Daoming Si. I think it might be the naivete and inherent gentleness they both brought to the role. ugh Someone tell me if that makes sense. Perhaps I've seen way too many versions of HYD.
e6 Gave me heartburn! I think he's killing himself by jumping into Ok so much. That might be why we see him tell Cha they need to stop in the coming attraction. It also looks like the boy sees Cha when he asks "What are you doing in there?"
Japanese entertainment companies don't invest much into live-action productions. I don't understand why.
There's a live action ofThe Outcast!!!???? I had no idea. I'm totally stuck s4e8. I can't find subs. The acting might be ify, but the cinematography, costumes, and cinematography should be excellent. Thanks!
just finished e5. I was right about grudge ghost, but wrong about why Ok sees Cha. He's been able to see spirits since he was a kid. I wonder if it's since the accident
